JW ended strange for a dinosaur movie, mutant-dino gets defeated by a Sea-Reptile and the 'real' dinosaurs Blue n Grandma-Rex watched on. The sea reptile (Mosasaur) was also the reason the movie did so good due to its appearance in the trailer. For a dinosaur movie, odd..

There has to be someone, unknown, on InGen's board that is pushing for weaponizing dinos who was talking to Hoskins on the phone n told him to extract Dr. Henry Wu n the laboratory specimens n data. That board member is probably connected to some US General or someone higher up. Some board member who thinks a Park is a waste of money due to decrease of tourists after an attraction has been out for a while..

IBRIS Project will continue with a pack of mini-me I-Rexes?


Locations could be secret InGen mainland laboratory, US military base, current war-zone (made up or real country) with I-Rexes unleashed in beginning of movie in desert environment in the middle east (desert because easier to catch them if they go rogue), later some jungle, maybe in South America or North Africa. But...I doubt it will be set in some islamic country since that would affect sales due to PC brigade..

Claire, I assume since she will be in the movie won't spend time in court or in jail over countless lawsuits from angry tourists n personnel, due to intervention of some US congress dude on InGen paylist, for fear she would squeal about IBRIS Project and I-Rex. Maybe I need to watch the JW again, but no tourists ever actually saw or even heard of I-Rex?

There were cool dinosaurs (example) in the park that we never got to see and what happens to the island now? Off-limits? If so, Claire n Owen wouldn't ever be allowed back again. Maybe island is just left alone since InGen took all the good samples. Poor Mosasaur would starve...

Or...with Hoskins dead InGen won't know about Owen's reluctance n might seek to keep him working for them and Claire, well would she not be blamed by InGen for royally screwing up everything? How would she even be involved besides being Owen's girlfriend?

there are some wild speculations out there that the I-Rex survived the Mosasaur encounter, this is impossible, due to Mosasaur 2nd upper (!) jaw, once it bites, there is no letting go (watch from 21:15) ...

I-rex could survive because it should have DNA of an regenerative creature like snakes or octopus, so maybe when he got killed it split into hundreds of little I-rexes that spawned into more.

Who knows, could go a lot of ways. Bring on more Chris Pratt action movies, I don't care what the background looks like.

The core appeal of the Jurassic Park films is seeing humans stripped of their technological advantage and then interacting with dinosaurs. The park is just a mechanism to allow this to happen, since if these animals were in the middle of New York City, technology would quickly come into play and make it uninteresting.

That's why I think it would be more interesting to completely jettison the entire plot and try an "alternate Earth" plot based in the past. For example, what if Christopher Columbus sailed to America and didn't find natives but dinosaurs instead? Then you could explore how european settlers would have attempted to colonize the New World and protect their initial forts from T-Rex attacks and the like. That would make a more interesting story because the humans would lack the technological advantage they do now. My first thought is that the initial colonies would all be islands, since it would be easiest to eliminate the large predators on an island and then safely establish a bulwark there.

Jurassic World was a continuation of Jurassic Park...but it was missing the same level of practical effects. Will Jurassic World 2 make good on the director's promise to use tactile robotic dinosaurs? Kim Horcher and Grant Imahara break it down.

"Well...there it is." Exactly a year before the film's US release (and just under a year for those of us in the UK), the first poster for the Jurassic World sequel has been unveiled, in turn revealing the film's full title: Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

The poster also features the tagline 'Life Finds A Way', a reference to Ian Malcolm's famous line from the original Jurassic Park, delivered - in his inimitable style – by Jeff Goldblum. (Goldblum will appear in Fallen Kingdom.)

Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and BD Wong are all back for the sequel, which adds to its roster the likes of Toby Jones, Rafe Spall and James Cromwell. The movie, directed by Juan Antonio Bayona, will be out here on 8 June next year, and 22 June in the US.

A Stegoceratops hybrid with addition of Ankylosaurus for side protection and even more improved tail. Well, such a beast would wreck any carnivore no matter what hybrid they could come up with since this herbivore would have no opening, would be like a tank n like an angry rhino would just crush anything in its path. Super-size it and you have the ultimate dino-killer.

Well, nobody talks about a T-Rex on San Diego, which was the big, public incident that would have prevented anyone from ever opening Jurassic World. They only talk about the five or so people that died on Nublar during the original movie, which may or may not be of public knowledge.
