This can potentially fall under that

50 years of red across the board sounds terrible....

Also, they'd all move to Denver before it finalized, and we don't need more people

Is this a common thing? Just out of curiosity? Do other states have similar policies in place? First time I've heard of this honestly. I'm guessing this is a state right but it's pretty much a toothless objection. Since it even says,
There are exceptions to the ban, however. For example, if travel is required to maintain grant funding or licensure, or for auditing and revenue collection purposes.
So basically, they're not funding employees trip to those states unless it risks collecting money.

Actually yes its more common than you think but they tend to be temporary. The most recent version of this was when NC passed all their bathroom bills that caused many states to ban vendor travel to NC. Not only do most business don't like getting into these social wars (I mean why discriminate against a potential customer that will give you money) but when it compounds where other states wont do business with you it gets things change quick in state legislatures. Historically when states do something bad other states will offer tax credits at industries most affected by these silly legislation which in turn causes less tax revenue for the offending state (a great recent example of this is how Ohio took all of Michigan's movie business deals) but now it seems like they rather pressure to get the same result.

The state of California decided that since a pest control license was for 3 years and I only paid taxes for 3 months worth of work I owed them for all 3 years of taxes. Which was about $10,000. I was guilty of tax evasion in there eyes until I showed them tax filings for those years and proof of employment. They said they sent me notices to a old address I no longer lived at.

Long story short California can kiss my ass. If you don't want to send people to Texas it's only good news to my ears.

Not what happened this was back in the mid 00s and California was strapped for cash. I did research to make isure t was actually the state of California and not a scam, and I wasn't the only one who they squeezed for money. It was nothing but a way for them to get cash from people.

This is quite amazing actually. Not as amazing as the reading proficiency of the right wingers in this thread, but still.

Yeah, that's why they have the 8th largest economy in the world and are introducing, on their own, universal healthcare for state residents. It's possible you didn't even read a single source - and it's obvious you don't know what the issue are anymore.

I think we know who the lunatic is at this point.

Virtue signaling by Cali government, nothing more.
People working 2 jobs in the US (at least one part-time) - 7.8 Million (Roughly 4.9% of the workforce)

People working 2 full-time jobs in the US - 360,000 (0.2% of the workforce)

Average time worked weekly by the US Workforce - 34.5 hours

At least they're trying. You mean like Kansas? And all the other red states that take more from the government in handouts than they contribute? Those states?

FYI: the travel ban for state employees, on state business. And they aren't the first state to do this - this isn't a "new" thing.

Coincidentally him using Illinois is kind of funny. A majority of the taxes imposed on Illinois citizens is localized to Cook County so that the rest of the State (which is majority Red) can have tax cuts and a lower cost of living. Basically you have one county paying for the rest of the state who then cries about how those evil Democrats are making life miserable for everyone. It's typical Republican mantra of -- I hate handouts...unless everyone else is giving them to me!

Many of those "red states"are horrible. Look at North Carolina, you are not even afforded as much power to tell a guy to stop once he starts having sex with you. He gets rough and you want him to stop? Well you could be SoL in NC.

"Once a woman agrees to having sex, her partner can legally ignore her if she says she'd like to stop. At least, that’s the case in North Carolina, where the state Supreme Court ruled that women cannot revoke consent after sexual intercourse begins...."

Perhaps if one was Christian, they could come to the conclusion that hurricanes were God's way of washing those supposedly Christian hypocrites away from our land. Kinda funny when you look at some things, like porn viewing habits in the USA. Looks like despite working so hard against LGBT citizens, many people in the Bible Belt really love their gay porn:

"As a national trend, however, an interesting metric jumps out. Ignoring the gay meccas of the Northeast and California, the region with the highest proportion of gay viewers is the South. Yes, the South, land of anti-LGBT legislation and Republican bigotry. Turns out, there’s a lot of people accessing gay porn there."

^^Just LOL @ those people. Makes ya wonder if why they often love calling people "cucks" so much is merely projection. I bet a lot of them wanna watch a soul brotha bang their GF.
