No, they can still travel there. It's just that the State of California will not pay for it using tax payer money. They don't want tax payer funds to go to states full if ignorant bigots which is their right.

And you should be thankfule for the "cesspool" because it subsidizes most of those states already.

And other organizations as well, organizations like the NFL. Here is a recent article* titled "Dallas’ bid to host 2018 NFL Draft jeopardized by transgender bathroom bill." Kinda stinks for some Texans because truthfully a lot of Texans, especially many in Dallas, are actually progressive people who are pulled down by the lesser, often Republican, citizens among them. I've read the comments from right wingers on other sites that condemn the likes of the NFL, arguing that while on one hand they take a stand against what the league sees as discriminatory laws, but on the other hand they are quick to take money from those states. That's not a zinger. Good. I'd take their money too. I'd take their money and donate it to pro LGBT groups (and buy myself more makeup and nail polish), LOL!

If you are a state working using state fund you cannot travel there. Otherwise state workers are more than free to travel there.
