I'm going to take your response at face value and assume you actually don't know what off days are. Those are days when you are not raiding. In WoD, there was literally nothing meaningful to do outside of raids. But you can't raid every day. So there was either no reason to login at all or you'd login and just sit in your garrison like a jackass.

Okay, that's a good argument, though what's the point of getting better gear if you're not going to use it?
There are still plenty of things to do in WoW, like farming mounts, level battle-pets, doing PVP etc.

I've been playing this game long enough to realize that if an activity doesn't have a chance of contributing meaningfully to a player's power, it's not going to hold most players' attention. That's why most people didn't give a damn about reputation for the original WoD factions, because all the rewards were cosmetic type things. Some people are really into collecting mounts and toys and battle pets but not the majority.

As for your first point, you're going to use the WF/TF gear on raid nights. WF/TF, M+ and AP are the answer to something players have been asking for for years: give me a reason to go back and do old content like dungeons and raids even after I out gear the base level of loot it rewards.

first, i correct that for you: YOU like it and YOU think its one of the best systems.

second: lol. no. plain and simple. wether i, nor the the thousand out there hating wf/tf will agree here. and wether i, nor many of the mentiined ppls are myth raiders.

Objectively it could only have a negative impact on a percentage of that 3% that raids Mythic. Other than that it can only be a good thing. So yeah it's a pretty great system.
