Body diversity of races

Non-muscular, slim male draenei? Muscular (non-fat) male pandaren?

Is there any credible lore that goes into the physical shapes of any of the races? Like do non-hypermuscular male draenei exist? We know orcs and humans can be skin like with the depiction of Kargath in Lords of War or Gul'dan, but what about the other races?

The models WoW uses are for the average person, as the way the game is build could never make something like sliders work.

But yes, races can differ in body build. They are tended to have a certain built due to culture and environment. For example, many orc tribes would abandon or drown sickly children. And even those that did not, treated them as a dishonor. And body fat is just a sign of attractive good health to most Pandaren.

But there are certainly examples of other body builds. Velen being the most famous slim Draenei. Gallywix is a fat Goblin. Fat humans also exist ingame. They are rare. Used to be able to find at least one in Old Hillsbrad Foothills, but not sure if he's still about. Had a unique model.

Yes the various races have diverse bodies... no it's not present in game due to limitations of the game engine and laziness of the devs (or however you wish to view it).

Not all males are built like Arnold and neither of all the women super models with the body of a 20-something but a face that can range from 12 to 177.

Honestly, if you look around at any source material this should become obvious... but in a way it's not a simple thing to add on the fly. Keep in mind how long it took to getting around to green fire for warlocks (it was 'talked' about in vanilla when people noticed certain defias casters having 'fel' spells in vanilla and wasn't added until MoP)

Pandaren are built like line backers. They have fat bellies but they are also incredibly strong. If you want to play something weak and nerdy, roll a gnome.
