just like in vanilla and people still called them the best bosses of all time because they needed months of gearing to kill because overtuning

Except most actual raiders who do mythic content don't care or want those days back or consider those bosses best, only people like Kungen and random MMO-champ posters want vanilla back.

Don't get me wrong at the time vanilla bosses were done they were extremely hard but since then the playerbase has improved a lot, guilds got a lot more professional, more addons were made especially stuff like weakauras. Even in top guilds you had players sometimes doing 50% more dps than another player of same class because everyone wasn't min-maxing like crazy. Gear acquisition rate was also way slower in Vanilla, so waiting several weeks to kill a boss while you get gear made sense.
