It's still between Method/exorsus, and *maybe* one of the Asian guilds (like Alpha). They have proven to be way beyond the competition, the fact that others caught up because there is a huge wall doesn't change that fact.

thats what happens if a well known guy comes back around the start of each expansion, tries to build his old guild again, goes a little hardcore (some kills) in the first raid atleast and then just suddenly disappears over night again as if he never was there till next time.

When you put down a wall that takes a week to break through, and someone gets their 3 days before everyone else it doesn't make the race even...

Or are you just making asspull speculation based on a stream you watched like everyone else.

Without a magic trick you just cannot survive 4+ stacks of sear besides all the other damage. Even if you are blessed by gods and you will survive somehow to the next rupture, the initial damage of it finishes the raid off. No calculation, no maths needed, it is just obvious.

To think that other guilds will use your strat faster and better than yourself is actually really bs.
Its not like Prime will suddenly beat Method on World First Race by using method strats.. huh ???
Also you can hide most relevant informations while streamin if you want to.

WoW World First Race is actually an amazing event, and could get way more attention if these "top" guild wouldnt be so selfish and ignorant towards the community.
Let Method and Exorsus start streaming and every other guild will do the same.

You can't hide anything while streaming. You can't hide your positioning, your best %, how many healers you're using, whats your tactic to deal with mechanic, when are you BLing etc. If you figure out a mechanic or a cute tactic, its known .Your streaming raiders also need to pay some attention to their stream, which takes away from their concentration, not to mention they start hating tasks that makes them look bad on the meter. Meanwhile, your opponents have no reason to stream.

No guild aiming for WF is ever going to stream. Also its very possible other guilds can do your tactic better due to different comp/setup or because they got lucky and all mechanics went on a mage who iceblocked.

It's the compositions, strategy that they are trying to preserve. When do they blood lust, what is their ranged spread like how do the melee deal with a mehanic to not lose uptime during X phase. A lot of that would be exposed with streaming, part of getting wf is coming up with all these factors in a given encounter first before others and then practicing it until you get it down to a T.

But it's also a cultural thing. All the top Chinese guilds are streaming all the time and they would keep doing it even if they got world firsts on hard bosses.

Classes being easy to play doesn't mean people will be aware of mechanics or dodge fires. Avoiding stuff or moving correctly is a huge part of raiding nowadays and is what often sets the best guilds apart from the mediocre ones. Sure seeing a stream of a boss before you get there yourself will cut the wipe count by some, but there's still a reasons that guild has fallen behind in the first place and it will still be behind no matter what. As someone said, just because Method streams doesn't mean other guilds will leapfrog ahead of them.

Obviously I dont know the details, thats just some numbers some Method people said on Stream. I dont think Sco/Method to pays their raiding squat 375k a year, but like 20-30k for the whole raid 1-2 times a year wont hurt Sco.

Someone said they get paid 1250 dollars per member per month. Let's say they're paying about 25 members, on average. That's 375k a year in wages. But as we know from the leak about their boosting, officers get paid more. If Sco is happy to pay raiders 1250 the capitalist in me says he earns triple that, so add another 45k in wage for him, maybe Rak as well. It quickly becomes 500k a year just in wages for raiders, that's before you think about the other people they pay such as web designers, the social media team, content creators etc. I seriously doubt they have that type of turn over yet. And even if they did, why would they pay people something they're willing to do for free?

There was a table in that link, that 1250 was just one of the parts of the sum and it was basically divided by the amount of raiders.
