What is it that takes up space on my computer?

    Hey.

I have 225 GB "Storage space" in total on my computer, But currently only 12GB Left, Yet when i check through every folder that holds any programm or files or anything, everything combined is just over 100GB, So what is it that takes up all this space? and how do i get rid of it?

CCleaner has a dark analyzer feature which will break down your disk in to categories to browse.

It's mostly nothing and some energy.
All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side

As was already recommended by Fridgekin, CCleaner does the job.

You might want to consider upgrading your hdd though. 1 TB harddisks are very cheap.

It's just the C disk that's 225, my D disk is 2.7 TB. But i am saving everything on the D disk, so that C disk is getting lower and lower on memory confuses me.

Download Space Sniffer. It will show a breakdown of all your folders/files.

My Steam and TV hard drives look like:

I used it recently to find a problem with a woman from works laptop. For some stupid reason her Windows log file was 15 gig, and her temp file was like 100 gig.

That thing worked for me. it showed that i Had the game "Killer instict" Installed on the computer (it was the biggest chunk of data on the map) through the app store and it diden't show up in instanlled programms or in any map when i searched the Computer for the big GB thief earlier, But the Game was like 50 GB, Must have downloaded that thing long ago, completly forgot about it. But it's gone now. Also had DC universe on the wrong disk, so deleted that aswell.

    Thanks alot

Glad you solved your problem, just wanted to share this scanner utility I use, it is good and portable (for windows).
