Andrew Kascynski is an employee of the CNN, however it seems that he is using CNN's resources to track this person down and try to reach out to him. he did it as a reporter.

He actively tracked down this person using the information on his reddit page and then doing a search on facebook to find his private information then contacted said person to ask if it's the person they're looking for: this is close to stalking.
It's not stalking, because stalking would require over a certain period of time, and I wouldn't suspect it took this CNN reporter that long, although it being CNN eh!

The point is that is a burden that would have to be proven, and honestly if this guy can find you, wanna know a real scary secret, for the right amount of money and I am not talking about some verified website 14.95 shit.

I can pay a private investigator, a few hundred, and find just about anybody online if I wanted to, sure some would be less moral about it, but you can find people doing anything, simply put what you say is NOT safe online ever.

Calling someone over the phone to discuss a matter is stalking?

Where did they threaten him? He was the one who brought up the issue of DOXXing, not CNN.

    posting again for clarity

After posting his apology, "HanA**holeSolo" called CNN's KFile and confirmed his identity. In the interview, "HanA**holeSolo" sounded nervous about his identity being revealed and asked to not be named out of fear for his personal safety and for the public embarrassment it would bring to him and his family.
and since you're going on about free speech

The apology has since been taken down by the moderators of /The_Donald subreddit.

Wait, I thought the only thing they reported was his handle. How was he "doxxed".

Melania Trump should intervene and save him from this bullying.

people trying to switch topic from cnn-kid to trump-comey are just sadly laughable.

It's not at all a free speech issue. His free speech is not being violated in any way.
Under human rights, the right to privacy falls under freedom of speech. Aka CNN saying they will reveal his identity is a direct violation of human rights.

Looks like he contacted CNN and brought up the subject of DOXXing.

At this point CNN lawyers probably said we won't but we can so don't piss us off. Seriously overblown.
You missed the part where CNN contacted him first on monday to which he didn't respond.

That isn't stalking, that's investigative journalism.
And - again - if the kid had his personal information openly accessible, it's his own fault.
He literally invited others to find it. To look it up.
Doxxing is a little bit different, a little bit, but that's an important piece.
If I happen to breach into your otherwise by yourself protected private information and possibly even obtain more of it, to then post it for all the world to see.. That is doxxing..
But, if I would access your openly accessible forum profile info here, or your facebook profile and then post that information somewhere else that isn't doxxing.
You've published that information yourself already.

Enjoy your delusions dude. I'm going to bed. They are literally threatening to reveal his personal information if he does not stop. This is a threat of doxxing. They are threatening to reveal his name, address, personal information, and phone number if he does not stop making his stupid fucking retarded memes.

Maybe consider why you're defending a doxxer in the future instead of its victim. Its almost like what side you support is irrelevant in the conversations about doxxing. But I'm sure the illustrious Wyrt doesn't see things in such a manner.

Article 12 would hold no water in a case like this.

youre going into details boys, but the main thing is this

    1) a boy creates an average 4chan like meme ( which there are 99999 alike on the net)
    2) somebody that knows Trump sees it
    3) Trump sees it and later reposts it.
    4) CNN goes after the boy like its some kind of Hitlerugend and he has something to do with Trumps decision to repost it.

Are they retarded FFS? Fake news + Thug news. CNN 2017

The kid should get a lawyer, immediately.

Aww, did your feelings get hurt? Well in this case Trump and his supporters have a message for you: Fuck your feelings!!

What happened to showing personal responsibility for your actions? Or is this too much for you sensible snowflakes? Do you need your personal safe space from public opinion?

This part is still up for debate. We don't know what exchange happened between CNN and the kid.

Another person which doesnt understand that the meme that this boy created has nothing to do Trump reposting it, does not call on violence towards the Media and IN NO WAY adjusts the mafia-like retarded reaction on CNN and them going after someone who has nothing to do with Trumps decision to repost it.

Oh, youre from Germany too, you guys have a well-known tradition of free speech. I've heared you got some people arrested for "hate speech"?
