CNN has been on decline long before Trump became a thing, sorry to disappoint the lesser intellectuals on this forum.

They have been dropping since they are inaccurate not because they produce fake news but because they want to be the first and therefor add a lot of speculation. In any case if ratings where an indication of how correct the news was there are a lot worse stations out there, especially fox and such who intentionally make up stories, "facts" and even turn the average joe or jane into a specialist while they know as much about the subject as a 10 year old.

I'm actually fairly certain that all the MSM outlets are capable of reporting real news stories when they happen (IE 9/11, gay night club shootings, throat stabbings). Haven't really found a "best" among them because they -all- are guilty of pushing the party politics down their viewership's throat in one way or another.

Plus... TV News rankings should be taken with a grain of salt... The only people watching TV for news are watching Fox anyway. That's the generation its made for.

Edit: Notice how none of the other MSM's have had any kind of surge in viewership since this, even Fox. This is more people breaking away from CNN TV for whatever various reasons rather than some kind of moral exodus in which thousands of disparate CNN viewers reeling from fake news are taken in under the wing of another, more accurate MSM.
