It's fair to say there were plenty extreme left rioting there since it's true, but not all there or all there with a message where of the same group or ideology.

2. Would be kinda hard to keep a meeting of such people secret. Some of them probably can't legally just vanish into thin air without telling people where they are. The most sensible thing would be to keep them away from populated areas.
