So, industry marks something as having made millions and now youre interested in franchise?

The Movies iteself from a Movie point of View are pretty much Garbage what i assume is: People enjoy the Interaction between the Characters. I laugh at People calling them Shit but continue to watch Series that should have ended 2+ Seasons ago just because its still going on.

So tell us your Talents please
I can play over half a dozen different instruments, guitar, bass, all sax types, clarinet, oboe, flute and mandolin, for starters. Psy auto tunes like every other pop poser, it doesn't take talent to do that shit. It takes talent to actually incorporate instruments into a song, something he can't do. A drum machine and a synthesizer on loop is not talent.

It got this big because it was a tribute to Paul Walker. It wouldn't have had a billion+ views had it not been for that fact.

I... haven't even heard about this song.. Can't be that good then, at least Gangnam style was discussed.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..

It doesn't take talent to play an instrument either. It just takes time to learn, most people can and do play at least one or two instruments these days.
Take this for example, producing a song is way harder than playing an instrument, yet DJs / producers still to this date get shit because idiotic dinosaurs(basically ppl who are stuck in the past) can't get with the times.

Never listened to a single song by this Khalifa lady. Probably won't now, either.

No I just feel compelled to watch what everyone else is watching just to see if it's good or bad. In this case, to see if it's improved.

I just managed to force myself to stop watching Michael Bay's Transformers.

    It's a disease.

I dont really think this song is any good, i dont see the appeal.
I listenned to about 10 seconds and beginning, and then clicked the middle, lasted 2 seconds and left...

    BOO URNS!

I too have never heard this song so i checked it out cause if it had that many views i thought it must be either quirky like gangnam or something earth shattering and instead it was the most generic song i have ever heard.

Why the fuck did so many people wanna hear it? Is it huge in China or something?

    Both are pretty shit.

Have your friends seen the movie? I mean, im not assuming you have friends, just trying to not make fun of you for not having any. Oh wait... when you say everyone, you mean a bunch of random numbers that a entertainment media outlet posted as having seen the movie?

"Gangnam Style" held the most viewed video record on YouTube for five years, after surpassing Justin Bieber's "Baby" in November of 2012, YouTube said in a statement on Tuesday.
The new record comes just days before the five-year anniversary of the release of "Gangham Style" on YouTube.
"See You Again" averaged over three million views per day, just this year alone.
"I'm super excited and grateful to everyone who supported the song and video on YouTube, and happy to inspire and impact so many lives," rapper Khalifa said in a statement.
"I remember when I signed up for YouTube in 2007 and had hopes of uploading a video and it reaching 10,000 views," Puth said. "Now a decade later, it feels incredible to be a part of the most-viewed video on YouTube."
The song was featured in the 2015 action film "Furious 7" where it played during the end credits in a tribute to the movie's star, Paul Walker, who was killed in a car crash before the film was released.

Pretty crazy, 3 million hits/day on average.
    never heard of it.

Well if you want to really do a deep dive analysis on it, this is a net impression gained from friends (some of whom still watch these films) plus the general level of pop cultural osmosis.

Example: the ending of the movie was referenced in a Trolden video. I suppose it's possible that Trolden is a shill for Universal Pictures. But subconsciously I just assumed that the movie had reached a level of pop culture pervasiveness that led to his expectation that people would get the joke.

    Happy?

"See You Again" is a nice enough song. I just don't think its worth that many views.
