It's Jodie Whittaker. The FIRST (canon) female doctor! Was just shown during Wimbledon as play ended earlier than expected. The first female Doctor was Joanna Lumley but that was for Red Nose Day.

If the chances of regenerating into a female are 50%, then the chance of 13 male doctors is 0.012% So really it's not unexpected. Perhaps people should be interested more in the quality of acting and not what genitals the Doctor has?

which always seems to be the Cry of people who get their way. its never merits when a white actor get a black characters role, or when theres too many men in a TV show and/or movie. it always seems to be "merits" when clear "diversity" Takes Place lulz.
