In the poorest neighborhoods in my city it's pretty common for daugthers to end with names like:
yuranis,
yeridis,
jazbleidis,
yusandis
and male names:
brayan
ronald
keyner
my point is that every country or city has this names that never die and become attached to some profesions and personalities

There was a kid called Rainbow when I was at school
If those male names, which are very common names in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and/or French are considered stripper names, it most be because strippers are mostly foreigners? Or women in the US like their strippers spicy?
Whats wrong with using those names?
Saw someone on my FB had a kid the other day. They called it Mercedes.
To be totally fair, times changed and some names became stripper names. Not that strippers can't be noble.
Milli Vanilli, Bigger than Elvis
I wonder if this was made after speaking in another thread about names... Candy is on that list :P.
Then it is because people consider the exotic to be sexy. And Latin people to be romantic and passionate. It isn't the names themselves, but the origins they represent. And people will keep naming their kids those names if they are proud of their origins.
Maybe a Bob would be a good stripper name in the far East... Long Bob, the white meat!
