Why do some parents give their children stripper names?

Okay, that list is hilarious. Amber is a completely normal name where I'm from, Rose is an old ladies name, Sarah is a strippers name? ( okay?) and my favorite... Anastasia lolololol yeah lots of strippers are named after a hundred+ year old russian duchesses

Hahaha. Yeah the Chanel is pretty common along with people that name themselves or kids after something expensive, regardless to having the experience.

I think names like say Brenda or Megan get put in there too, but mostly because of a want to seem average girl next door.

How is kyle a stripper's name? That's like, one of the most bland male names ever.

The only names from that list that sound like stripper names are Destiny and Crystal, or the really obscure ones like Chardonnay or Porsche.


Also, the more obscurely a name is spelled, the more it sounds like a stripper name.

( minus porsche / chardonnay, which is a car brand and a sort of grapes, that often is made to wine / sec, i dont know why you would name your daughter after a car or a wine tree)

They might be aiming for Portia and just pick the wrong spelling? Though interestingly Porsche was named after a guy. Surname though. Chardonnay is a place, but I doubt that's what they're going for.

Three of my ex's are named Samantha. Can confirm, Samantha is trashy.

When my wife and I were thinking of names for our daughter, Samantha was one. Almost every friend of mine suggested against it because every Samantha they knew was a total slut.

You're really overthinking this.

Some of those names are a bit silly, and would be unsuitable as names, sure.
