You claimed it was largely hispanic because it was Mexican territory before we conquered it. So really we need to know what it was at Texas' annexation. We also would need to account for the 1960s change in immigration policy which courted mexican and south american immigrants.
Or the white man could do what the brown man is doing and pack up all of his/her belongings and... move. Nothing is stopping the white man from doing this, and it was illegal for the brown man to do it in the first place, but he still had the balls to do it for the better of his/his family's life.

Plus, I enjoy that you respond to Didactic's post replying mine, but won't bother replying to mine because it shows how stupid you sound. It really nails home just how snowflake conservatives really are, especially when they (you) disenfranchise someones success (A trait conservatives covet) because of their race.

There are no worse scum in this world than fascists, rebels and political hypocrites.
Donald Trump is only like Hitler because of the fact he's losing this war on all fronts.
Apparently condemning a fascist ideology is the same as being fascist. And who the fuck are you to say I can't be fascist against fascist ideologies?
If merit was the only dividing factor in the human race, then everyone on Earth would be pretty damn equal.

    Good fucking riddance.

These are the assholes that elected Arnold as governor and voted for Proposition 8. They can fuck right off to Texas.

According to you conservatives covet disenfranchising successful minorities? They shouldn't be in the country in the first place, and youre the one tying poverty to race.

This is problematic. Best I could find was a 3,750 population of Hispanics, 6% of population, in 1836 on TSHA but there's nothing cited there to back it up so I have no clue how accurate that is. Then there's the fact Hispanics weren't even tracked on some census years (Like 1940) which makes it impossible to continually track. I'm more than willing to admit i'm wrong on size of Hispanic population at the annexation, but it really doesn't change the fact they were always here and, like you said, even legally courted here in the 1960's. Legal is legal. Looking at another document, they had the highest family size too at an average of 4 back in 1995.

The annexation of Texas wasn't some happy go lucky thing. It was a war. I inferred that you were trying to argue that there was a happy go lucky attitude between the US and Mexico during the foundation of Texas. My mistake if thats not what you meant. And yes the majority of Hispanics are not illegal immigrants. But it wasnt because of the Annexation of Texas, but rather the change of policy

And who are that certain group of people?

I can think of one group of people that would deny an ex-miner from Ohio education and healthcare but would gleefully allow them the opportunity to develop Black Lung Disease. The philosophy of White Genocide is strong with the Republican Party and their Orange Overlord.

I hope that lady from Vacaville starts a movement in that city and the entire city follows her. It's an abomination of the freeway, the epicenter for the stupidest drivers in the state. Whenever you drive through there you can always count on drivers with Vacaville dealer license plate frames to pull on to the freeway at 50 mph, cruise all the way over to the left lane, and then cruise back over to exit 2 exits later. The city is a cesspool of vacated intelligence.

That being said though, these people seem to also be stupid enough to not know anything about Texas and assume they would simply be welcome with open arms. As the Texas economy grows beyond oil, the city politics are going to continue to sprawl. Texas isn't too many years off from going blue.

If you were living in some african countries I could agree that there's a genocide going on against white people, do you live in those african countries? No.

That is Texas in it's entirety, not Houston.

How sad... when i read she wanted to save her youngest i read that she wants to ruin his life with ignorance. Very sad.

Education is progress, it is good for children. It's the best for children actually. It's how they grow up to be intelligent and informed human beeings.

Also... what is this problem with Socialism?! You prefer to have homeless beg at your doorstep and dying in the streets from hunger? Yeah... brain washing of the highest degree.

Still have to visit family in Texas regularly.

You couldn’t pay me to live in Texas again. It’s a giant strip mall of fake-Christian mega churches, chain stores, and dingy dirt lots deemed “parks”. And yes, I spend time in urban (Houston), liberal (Austin), and remote country towns. It is not a pleasant place to be, and that’s before you experience the weather.
I lived in Texas for a few years too in the 70s and 80s, in Mesquite (near Dallas), Kerrville (Austin area), and on Ft. Hood in the Army. It was a fair bit different then, until 1994 when Bush won for governor. It's been all downhill from there.

Why hasn't Texas seceded like it threatened to some years ago? All the fundie xtian moonbats and gun-totin' rednecks can move there and no one would give a fuck. 49 states is fine with me (make it 48, they can take Kansas with them).

OTOH, it has produced a few decent people like Ann Richards and Molly Ivins.
