Company to install microchips in employees

    http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/compa...cid=spartanntp

'A Wisconsin technology company is offering its employees microchip implants that can be used to scan into the building and*purchase food at work. Whether or not to get a chip is up to the employee to decide.
Three Square Market, a company that provides technology for break-room or micro markets, has over 50 employees who plan to have the devices implanted, KSTP-TV reported.*The tiny chip, which uses RFID technology or Radio-Frequency Identification,*can be implanted between the thumb and forefinger "within seconds," according to a statement from the company...'

Who will be the person that gets the chip with the number "666" ?

Since it's optional, as long as they don't make it a job requirement, okay have fun.
Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.

    Just, be kind.

Pay me. Otherwise, GTFO. Optional things always end up being required.

You remind me of the people who thought the devil was in grocery store barcodes.

If you're that goddamned lazy or stupid to keep track of a simple bank or ID card that you have to get something implanted in your body, then maybe you need more than a chip implant.

Yeah if I get paid pager pay to carry a goddamn device with me everywhere, regardless of if I am asked to actually use it, then I should get chip pay as well.

Yes, it's optional for now - likely in an attempt to try and normalise it. Will it still be optional in ten years? Twenty?

There's absolutely no reason to do it that can't be done through other, less invasive methods.

I have around 20 cards, you moron. But don't worry, there will come a day when the chip will be mandatory. And we WILL watch you!

I'll be honest, I would feel a lot safer and some of people were micro chipped and monitored all the time.

I wouldn't turn down a microchip with like an ID, allergies, and that sort of junk on it.

I realize you're being facetious, but just to point out: It can't be mandatory, not even by your employer. Bodily autonomy trumps virtually everything.

Wannabe necromancers, they lack power to control their zombies as we do so they use chips now?
