I agree with you. But it's finding 19 others that can do that. It took them 600+ tries, it obviously takes a bit more skill than we understand. But overall, learning it, doing it, doesn't seem that difficult.

Those 600+ wipes was for the entire raid. KJ was just shy of 500 though.

I dont think it looks mechanically more challenging then Ragnaros in Firelands or Imperator Margok was. However it seems like given the damage values of abilities, trying to do the fight without stacking certain classes would be impossible at current gear levels.

Heroic kill probably in the next week or so. Also, I was in a mythic WoD raiding guild during HFC progression. It only took us 80-100 attempts on Archimonde and he was an end boss of an expansion, if that says anything. Also we were server second. If that says anything as well.

So you'll possibly kill him in heroic, after far better players killed him in Mythic, and somehow you're an expert on that version of the fight.

300+ of those tries were done when the boss was mechanically impossible. After the fixes, it was 300 or so more attempts till a kill. Now that the video has been released, people all over the world will learn and the attempts it takes guilds to down him will significantly reduce. Also, im pretty sure blizzard will nerf him more in the comming weeks and months.
