I just watched that episode. See, they started the show with something like that, and if they continued it, then it would just be a parody and it would be fine. That, or the show established a nice cast of characters and two parallel worlds where they could have adventures (I like the treasure hunting girl with spatial magic). But nope, the show's too short for that.

I did notice that the dub of Saiyuki was on Hulu. Not that I haven't already seen it, but it's one of my faves, so I might watch it again. Seems there's a new series of it. Couldn't get past the original though. Reload was like a universe reset. Like nothing happened, let's just move on.

I've even seen the Gods' spirits imprisoned there, while Sargeras is out in about, cleaving worlds, and devouring stars with his cosmic might.

What does this have to do with Anime? Well, His might feels like it came from a fucking Godly anime, that's for sure. XD

Dropped Gurren Laggan; I think it was rather charming, just not my type.

It apparently took me 6 months to realize that Dragon Maid was a KyoAni show. I just started watching it yesterday; what a comfy show! Fafnir is great!

I'm thoroughly loving Boruto right now, so much so that I've decided to grab Ultimate Ninja Storm 4: Road to Boruto off of Steam (the game with all DLC is on sale for $23 on Steam, through Friday morning). Taking forever to download though, will play it tomorrow.

Reminder for you anime weebs that the PC port of the excellent Trails of Cold Steel launches on Steam next week on August 2nd. Renowned porter Durante has been posting blogposts explaining the changes he made. More dialogue has been recorded for the PC version as well! Cold Steel 2 port to follow afterwards, and hopefully a port of the upcoming 3rd game too. Don't research the 3rd game unless you want massive spoilers for the first two!
