Finally got around to watching Kimi no na wa, now that BD rips are out.
I regret i missed the small window it was out in cinema's here, but i am definitly going to buy the blu-ray when it's out, not a question, i need to watch it on my big screen, it's a must.


I've been a fan of Makoto Shinkai and comix wave for a long time, Kotonoha no Niwa is one of my all time favorite movies, and in many ways like Satoshi Kon, i hold him in higher regard than Miyazaki.
And i could write gigantic post's about what a masterpiece this was, but i'm going to restrain myself.


What an absolute masterpiece, there is extremely tiny flaws here and there, but they are as irrelevant as it comes. Comix Wave and Shinkai really outdid themselves.
His stories might not be the most original stories out there, but the way it is presented is without an equal.
Tears happened, absolutely stunning.

Shinkai is someone who is growing, and Comix Wave just keep getting better and better, i can't help but look forward to his next work.
Those timelapses is such a great proof of what a great studio this is, and they are easily one of my top 3 along with Shaft and KyoAni.

Just, wow man.
It deserves every praise it got, and more.
