MMO's in general are tapering off. Today's gamers don't have the time to commit generally. Honestly I'm glad I gave them up for the most part, it allowed me to play so many more things. They're not dying per se, but they certainly aren't as alive as they used to be.

I wouldn't say GW2 is dead, but when I was playing it, outside of my guild and cities, I rarely saw people as I was leveling up, or at end game just running around.

Yeah, that had to be sarcasm, well crafted sarcasm but still a joke.
I might see where folks could consider GW2 dead, if they don't compare it to most other MMO's out there. You'd have to ignore a lot of stuff.

And I don't play anywhere near as much as I used to, but there's usually folks around when I do play. Sure you may not get so packed as to need "miniatures have been hidden" unless it's the world boss for the daily, but even during the Wrath heyday of WoW, folks weren't common in non-relevant areas at all.

Umm chrono is king of alacrity, rev doesn't even come close to how long chronos can stack it.

In the first place, sarcasm is often hard to communicate through text because it often relies on body language and tone of voice. Secondly, sarcasm isn't a universal thing. It varies from culture to culture and there are even quite a few where the whole concept of sarcasm is just bizarre and weird (because if you think about it the whole idea of saying the opposite of what you mean and everyone just wink winking about it is bizarre). So, yea in the future it's probably better either mark things as sarcasm or just don't do it. Either way you shouldn't then pick on people for not getting it because you have no idea about their background or who they are.

They nerfed it by half made no other adjustments to chrono which was balanced around 66% alacrity and then gave it's one niche to revs

Disclaimer: I've largely ignored playing mesmer in general except recently to make sure I had one in fractal groups.

Chronos don't have strong dps but they are one of the most in demand classes in the game.

In WvW they are welcomed in any playstyle and damn near broken in terms of their impacts in fights. Same for pvp but in a lesser sense.

They have guarenteed spots in raids either as tanks or boon support/distortion. Any semi-decent fractal group will take a chrono because of the boons/utility they bring. A chronos meh dps is excused for what the class brings.

Everyone knows the various perks of being a mesmer/chrono in open pve.
