Meh. Natsu's personality was consistent throughout the series as being completely unaware of any kind of romantic stuff. It wouldn't make sense for him to suddenly change and pull a Juvia.

the Dragon Cry movie was good. best part were women. those thighs and all those curves were top notch, fights were even good, Erza using Grand Chariot was dope, Natsu being half dragonized was ok.

Acnologia's backstory was so-so.

So I guess it's true that the quest itself wasn't to kill the black dragon, Acnologia just got in the way. I don't read manga (though I'm trying to keep up with K-On Shuffle), but I'd be curious to see if they intend to adapt this as well.

The 100 year quest is about slaying 5 ancient Acnologia-tier dragons in the northern continent. Acnologia isn't one of them, but his goal was to destroy all dragons so he could have been searching for them when he ran into Gildarts.
