We all know One Punch Man is the best show in the last decade.

i never intended to "present my case". i stated my opinion. i don't like. that's it. there's nothing more to it. it's rather unreasonable to answer that with "no! you must state the flaws in it or i won't accept your opinion!"

Perhaps I could have phrased it better, but usually there are reasons for not liking something and I'd honestly like to know. This is me trying to have a conversation. I don't get many of them.

same goes for the sunset/starlight/trixie discussion. if you feel like they're the same character that's fine. i think they're plenty different right down to their base character. (and yes i agree Starlights backstory sucked, but as a cahracter at this point i like her more than Twilight).

I can agree she is better than Twilight right now, but that's thanks to them shelving Twilight and promoting her too far too early. Alicorn I was fine with and even princess I was fine with, but not both at the same time. By pushing her so quick she doesn't have much room to grow anymore and they new that, so they needed to put out a new character and now Starlight is the Sasuke (from Naruto) of the MLP universe, just with far less teenage angst and hating things.

Without something to fight or learn Twilight is resigned to doing......whatever the plot commands her to do for the week. Sometimes she seems a bit forced in there rather than being an integral part of much of anything.

and yes, i realize that both arguments are at it's core the same, just with reversed sides and different base knowledge about the topics.

I'm going to disagree that they're the same argument, but I don't want to particularly focus on that one.

Last decade? I'm sure it would land in top 10, but not the best. I'd say Avatar the Last Airbender might be the best show, if at the very least being the best animated show in the last decade, and most likely even further.

while OPM is great in itself, it really is just a standard superhero anime/mange .. although with a focus on comedy rather than combat.

there are better shows, although OPM is one of the more enjoyable ones

i can understand that, but there really is not much more to it. it doesn't suit my tastes. want more detail? it has an atrocious animation style, the parts i did see were overall pretty nonsensical, it's humor is just not fun, the character design is.. on drugs? ... i can't put it differently or more detailed than that, because that's everythign there is to it. "i don't like it" while for fans, like you probably are, hard to understand is really just the most accurate answer i could give to all your questions. i just don't have any passion about that show to really care about deeper details. sorry.
