Honestly I am very surprised to find out, but it seems the most common choice of people would be to remove cross-realms. And I'm 110% for that, introducing that to the game pretty much killed the entire server community, which were a huge reason I loved this game as much as I did. I honestly made more friends in Vanilla (some of whom I'm now irl friends with) than I did the later 10 years of the game combined, which is a bit sad.

Still, a light in the dark to know so many people agree with me, and some are seemingly as hateful of it as I am.

I'll admit, I'm very torn on it

On the one hand, the community at large has managed to raise transmogging from simply putting on earlier gear sets, to full-blown costume designs. I admire this.

On the other hand, I appreciated a time where people would wear current and useful gear, and the visuals would reflect their immediate progress.

Alot of these seem to be more features not items in the 'vault' to remove.

Simplicity from the game is gone. All professions get their bonuses back. Leg Armors, Belt Buckles and Enchants for everything are back. Gems slots are back as well. Basically taking everything back to how it was in SoO. Before they went all fucking crazy with changing rotations for classes that didn't need it. Everything had a flow to it and now it's gone.

Everything cross realm, especially sharding and the new group finder (the mythic dungeon one, not the automatic LFG). Flying also doesn't make the game better, that's why no other half decent WoW-like MMO copies this feature, but since the excessive use of cross realm functionality these days it has become only my #2 thing I would remove. Every other MMO can do server merges, why can't WoW?
