So the gold is no more... or was it somewhere else?
All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side

By no means it's a letdown for me, but the difference in how the Seasons are build-up is really obvious and "something" (that extra sprinkle/icing on the cake) isn't there for me.
I think the evolution has been pretty clear. This has been coming for multiple seasons now. Dothraki against KL lead by Targaryen. This was even quoted in the first season.
"Let's say Viserys Targaryen lands with 40,000 Dothraki screamers at his back. We hole up in our castles," Robert says. "A wise move. Only a fool would meet the Dothraki in an open field. They leave us in our castles. They go from town to town, looting and burning, killing every man who can't hide behind a stone wall, stealing all our crops and livestock, enslaving all our women and children. How long do the people of the Seven Kingdoms stand behind their absentee king, their cowardly king hiding behind high walls? When do the people decide that Viserys Targaryen is the rightful monarch after all?"

Wooden stick isn't a sword. Nor waterdancing.

She used her sword literally the same way she used the stick and water dancing as well. You sound like someone telling someone cant possibility use Judo to fight someone not using judo lol?

Arya should just stab everyone and be the Queen of the iron throne. The queen we deserve.

You don't use judo to fight someone, you use judo to drop someone to the ground and pin them down face into dirt while performing some painful move on one of their limbs till they are begging you to kill them quickly.

Not a single punch or kick and only one side uses force (of gravity), nothing like a fight.

Even if you shot him with a gun, its still a fight. Wanna fight about it?

So arya is going to ask robot bran to look more closely into littlefingers affairs and see he betrayed ned and goodbye littlefinger. No master plan just service to the stark revenge list, awesome....

Great battle, if the later seasons dont do the story justice they make up for it a bit with the battles.

Knew that horse charge from jamie in the trailers was going to be pretty bad ass. Dany looks pretty sweet riding a dragon even if the dracarys is a bit cringe

Well i guess now we know where most of the budget went into.

Also, i find it hard to believe that Arya is a sword prodigy after her stay at Braavos, particularly when matched with someone who's been fighting for far longer than she has.

Or, the show was ridiculously slow-paced before they decided to wrap it up, and now it's paced like a regular show would/should be. I have no problem with shows that are slower (Better Call Saul is one of my favorites right now, and it is so, so slow), but GoT deliberately dragged things out to a ridiculous extent. It's refreshing to see things moving as it feels they should be.

Not really a master, just two different styles and gear. Brienne has much heavier armor and sword wich equals slower movements compared to arya. Then you just need to be smart how you move against slower targets.

Arya was trained by Syrio Ferel who imo was a faceless man and Jaqen she is now a faceless man who are the best assassins bar none of course shes gonna be bad ass she can fight with here eyes closed.

Syrio Forel's training was nowhere near enough to make her good enough to stand on her own. And the faceless man training, well, it was what we saw. It's another example of the show requiring the viewer to do some imagining in order to compensate for these gaps, which is what it makes doubtable in the first place.

According to this logic, she was on par with Brienne, which means she's will hold her own agaisnt the Hound. ....What?

Hounds got weight and fights dirty. Brienne on the other hand, fights fair. I know Arya could kill Brienne for sure, just based on the show from what we have just seen. The hound though, not so sure about that one.
