Is the whole 'lesser evil' concept foreign to you? Or do you just not get that the US dems are the lesser evil for those who hold left wing ideals?

Its like the choice between a hardcore gangrape and just getting fucked over.

Seems like a weak excuse tbh.

There's nothing to excuse. It's basically just optimization. You're never going to get all of what you want, so you vote for the closest thing which has a chance of winning.

Blah blah blah, Nash equilibrium blah blah Duverger's law. I'm aware of that. But @Edge is complaining that we should not generalize entire groups because of how they vote. I think it's valid to generalize people like that.

Well simple math tells me that A) Moderate Democrats aka Hillary Voters are a dying breed especially on MMO champ, and B) Any democrat here that talks about "Capitalism" there is about a 99% chance they rocking the Bernie stickers.

Common sense is tough sometimes I know.
Yeah I'm rocking a Bernie sticker. And Bernie is a capitalist. Social democrats like Bernie are still capitalists. Just because they want to increase the social welfare programs doesn't make them marxists. Bernie himself has said he still wants the engine of the economy to be in the hands of private enterprise. That alone disqualifies him from being a fucking Marxist.

I prefered Bernie, and voted for Hillary most because: 1. She's better than Trump, 2. I prefer Democrat platforms to Republican platforms and 3. Merrick Garland deserved to at least get a confirmation vote and what was done to him was a total farce.

But I would not have been terribly upset if Kasich won. I might not like his platform or his party, but he's a man I could at least respect.

I cannot respect a total douchebag like Donald Trump.

    You were saying?
Yeah, I support Bernie Sanders. Yeah, I support his economic policies. I still maintain that both he and I are capitalists. I still believe most businesses should be profit based, and I believe Mr Sanders does too. We happen to agree (Sanders and myself) that some things like healthcare and education, should not be profit based. We happen to agree that the middle and lower classes should be better treated by the upper class we support and given decent pay and benefits.

But neither of us are Marxists because both of us still believe the economy should be mostly run by private enterprise. Which again, is a thing Bernie himself has said, out loud, in an interview.

I think you've just nailed Bernie Sanders down in a perfect nutshell and as to why I like him too! Toss into there not-accepting any money from special interest (ie. big corporations) and you got yourself an amazing person! ^_^

But, despite that Bernie can say everything about his economic beliefs and counter any argument - the Dumpsters will plug up their ears and ignore it. You see, they WANT to hate him! They WANT him to be a socialist because calling him that brings with it soo many prejudices. They WANT to hate him so badly because he's not a "conservative" (which is ironic, since he's the one who literally wants to conserve all our overseas/military spending the most!).

So, Bernie can say exactly what he is - and all it takes is Dumbass Dump to say "WRONG!" and the mouthbreather masses will cheer on, without a single thought in their head - because they're led by emotions of hate and rage, not thought or logic.

If I didn't know this was real, I'd swear he was either sitting in front of a green screen, or they digitally stuck his head on top of his suit. What's with the unnecessary camera angle changes as well when it's only 3:07 long? They need to do themselves a favor and fire the cameraman /editor.

Nah, voting is important. I do think however that people ought to be judged by how they vote.

I already said that people that voted for Trump without genuinely liking him are cucks. Do you want me to say something else?

Does not mean they agree on everything with the person they voted for.
You don't have to be right wing to want to keep Trump out of the presidency.

I understand what "lesser evil" is. However, it still goes back to my point, you are still allowing that said of policies you don't agree with to become a reality.
