The question is....why were the two groups that close to each other. You can flip the same statement on it's end when there is no context to anchor it.

Last night they marched unannounced on the property. No one knew they were going to do it and it was specifically done, admittedly, to catch people off guard and make a stir. Police had no advanced warning and had to step in once they were aware of what was happening.

Today, the day they had the permit for to do their protest, they simply didn't have the manpower to control the situation when people arrived by the bus load this morning pre equipped in military and riot equipment.

At least one Alt-Right privilege went up in flames today. They never get to condemn Muslims for not condemning terrorists to their satisfaction. I'll say it again, Ohiostate124 is the functional equivalent of that British Islamist carrying the "Islam will Conquer the World" sign in the picture I posted. He and the Alt-Right now knows what its like to be philosophically aligned with a terrorist, and explaining how what they believe isn't the same as what the terrorist believes.

I for one think that in the name of fairness and justice, the US Terrorism Watch List should be expanded to include prominent members of the Alt-Right. They should be exposed to extra screening at airports. After all, if one of their number would commit an attack like this, do we really KNOW they won't try to take down an airplane to make a point? He should face Federal Terrorism charges. He should be processed EXACTLY like a member of ISIS would be.

Terrorism is a federal crime, not a state crime. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev committed his terrorist attack (Boston bombings) in a state without the death penalty. His crime went federal and he was given the Death Penalty.

That he didn't explicitly condemn white nationalists, and that lack of condemnation, with him instead placing blame on "all sides", gives them a very clear pass in their eyes. That's beyond unacceptable, and the White House communications team and president should know better.

But then again, Trump has been courting the white supremacist wing of the US since the campaign, so why stop now?

Who is "Them"? The white supremacists being condemned know very well who they are, or do you not see David Duke whining about them being condemned? Yes, and this will doubtless force a severe reconsideration of whether or not bringing weapons and riot gear to a "peaceful protest" demonstrates implicit intent of turning it into a riot if necessary.
