I don't see how Blizzard have anything to do with Destiny... they are just using their platform to sell their game. They have NOTHING in common. It's like going to a VALVe convention and expecting some indie game that uses their platform to sell itself to be present and to take the spotlight from VALVe. Not going to happen people.

That's not correct. Valve and some Indie Company don't have any connections. But Blizzard and Activision belong together.

So Activision Blizzard wasn't just Blizzard. It's basically every other big Activision game company in there, so they could talk about Call of Duty World War as well. Crap.

Just wanted to clear something up as a Gamescom attendee. Blizzard never hold official press conferences with Gamescom. They run their own as their stage / area of the convention is large enough to do their own thing. That's what they did with Legion. So this schedule can be ignored and does not confirm we won't get an 8.0 reveal at Gamescom. There's still plenty of time for them to announce a livestream again and do it live from their own stage allowing anyone to watch. The press conferences are private and invite only so they wouldn't do it there.

Also worth noting how odd it is they haven't posted the Gamescom schedule yet. They normally do that about a week or two before the event starts. It begins for the general public on Wednesday so it seems like they have something to hide. Maybe

Just amazing to me they're going to be 15 months into Legion before they announce the next expansion. Quick comparison: 7 months into TBC they announced Wrath.
