As if WB aren't in front of the tree about to be lynched already, this doesn't help their cause in the least.
Also suspicious, that the moderator has links to a site that sells in game items & steam accounts. Makes me think WB or devs paid little to no attention to whom they were picking other than "Have you been a mod' before?" "Yep" "You've got the position".

Its a disturbing trend. Lot more often as time goes on there's cases of the hardcore social justice leaning gaming community moderator who gets outed as a pedophile or sexual predator. Last big one was a neogaf ex mod who claimed his terabytes of child porn was "to suppress the dark urges" and it was around him being like the 30th or so of them that people started to pay attention to how often "again" was cropping up in the title of these stories.
Near as i figure these creeps infiltrate the social justice crowd as an easy in due to their well meaning but ultimately naive hive mind mentality and it lets them ingrain themselves in places to creep on children with a wall of defenders till they slip and let the evidence get too open and too numerous about their creepy shit.

Its like the scandals in the 80's and 90's with republican politicians getting caught and shamed for going to gay nightclubs on the downlow. You can't bury shit especially in this age where everything leaves some form of digital papertrail. It all outs eventually like a pressure valve letting off steam. Theres a joke in there given the subject here but i'll leave that one to stew for someone else.

I was super excited for this game, even got me to actually 100% the achievements of the previous one in anticipation.

I usually wait for reviews before I buy stuff but I might give this one a good 6 months past launch to wait for the initial hype to die down before I even contemplate looking at it's reviews.

At first I thought it was just TB ranting, then he mentioned the death of someone, which not only got included in game, but is also DLC. Also day one DLC.

The first gameplay reveal for this looked so promising. Not quite in line with the lore, sure, but so much fun.

Then came the microtransactions in a single player game.

Oh, but don't worry, it actually has a multiplayer mode nobody asked for too.

Then they made story choices that, even in the context of this being an alternate Middle-Earth, just feel wrong. Another One Ring and turning Shelob of all characters into a sexy Morrigan wannabe?

And now this shitshow of turning a dead man into day 1 fucking DLC.

I will not buy this on release, or even close to release. I'm not sure I'm even going to buy it period. I'll see the story on Youtube, and replay Shadow of Mordor in a year or two.

Not buying ever is my decision.
I was very dubious about the whole purchasing of chests being added, especially as they can alter the online thing, but as if hearing that they were going to add some NPC in honour of him that could one shot things, I cringed & then they topped it by making this the day one DLC that very little (if any?) of the money they charge goes to the charity, no way in hell will I ever buy this!
