Is it more damaging to stay and implicitly endorse the Presidency?
Is it more damaging to resign, and leave Trump and Bannon alone with the nuclear codes?
It's like we're almost rooting for a coup. We've never quite been in this situation, thanks deplorables.

Can't decide.
If they stay, they can try to hold Trump back when he mixes up his anti-depressants and his Viagra and trying to bomb Chicago with a hard on. Trump and his agenda still proceed, but slower and safer.
If they all go at the same time, if all the wheels come off the track at the same time, we have a train trying to off-road. Generally speaking, trains don't go very far off tracks, but they would do massive amounts of damage if they hit something. In this context, Trump might end up politically paralyzed, but he might be able to do something dramatic and actually dangerous -- like military action, or E.O.'s crippling the government forcing a shutdown -- purely out of spite, that actually works.
Neither option is ideal for the country, but both are better than aiding and abetting.
what they shouldn't do, is trickle out one by one. They'll just be replaced, and Team Trump gets stronger, not weaker.

Leaving seems legitimately better for their careers at this point. They'll get support back from the moderates eventually.

They can't stop him or even restrain him. All they can do is help make it evident he's nuts so he can be removed.
