Blizzcon is too late. If Argus comes out in August, and the next expansion is announced in November, then add 6 more months to it at least, because of beta, and that's when the next expansion will release. That would be May 2018. That is at the earliest. More likely it will be later. Like June or July. That would mean a year of Argus. They are not gonna do the same mistake again.

Yeah because they had to, because Borelords of Gaylore was so shit, so they had to make an announcement. This time there is no point in spoiling it. They have never announced a reveal at Blizzcon either. Better to keep the surprise.
they are gonna talk about the raid, they are gonna talk about the zones, they are definitely gonna talk about the netherlight crucible.
details about this content update will be unveiled on stage and via live stream during the Blizzard Reveal Ceremony on Wednesday.

Was at least expecting more of OPs weird fan fic in regards to expansion leaks. Not impressed.
Reported for clickbait title. At least learn to use a question mark when appropriate.
seems unlikely for an xpac reveal but who knows. Regardless I'm not holding my breath.
As you where told before NO they wont announce next xpac at gamescon you now even have a schedule to prove you this FACT but you dont listen to other people anyway.
- theres no press/fan invitation like last time
- 7.3 will launch shortly after gamescon which makes a silly to announce xpac
- thats what bcon is for when they dont have a shitshow like wod
....

you do realise there are people not going ptr AND sites like wowhead/mmoc?
First of all, drop the click bait title.
Second, no, it isn't going to be revealed according to their schedule.
And last, but not least. I hope it won't get revealed at GamesCom, for that is what BlizzCon should be for. Legion reveal was a mistake in my opinion.
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..

Gamescom is going to be blizzard trying to convince people that 7.3 won't be a terrible failure of a patch.
The expansion announcement will be at Blizzcon.
yes, WE.
we as in most of mmo-champion.
you do understand that the majority of the playerbase isnt obsessed with datamining like we are and dont hang out for hours on a forum looking for news to pop right?
its still gonna be new for a millions.

Your head-canon schedule is meaningless, you realize. Legion is going very strong, and they don't need to hype it on "foreign soil" like when WoD was dying. They can keep the reveal for their own show and sell a ton of virtual tickets. It'll release when it's done, not on some pre-arranged delay from when it's announced.
The description says we'll see 7.3 and cinematics.
So i guess 8.0 is at blizzcon.
Yeah and the majority of the playerbase also doesn't go to Gamescom. Your point is? 7.3 is not new, they can't reveal it again. By your logic, they could announce the next expansion online and then still announce it at Gamescom or Blizzcon, because most people don't go online so they don't know about it. If you don't read news sites to learn about 7.3, you also won't read news sites to learn about a new expansion. Do I give a shit what some people read or don't read? Still doesn't mean that you can reveal something twice.

Yeah did they announce an expansion reveal at any of their Blizzcon? As if they would do that. Of course they're gonna keep it a secret.
