I dunno Ian Mcdiarmid/Liam Neason were pretty amazing too.

Also in my eyes Disney can do no wrong.
Let them pump a million starwars films out each year! So far they have been on a golden run with marvel movies that im not even remotely close to being burned out on also Rogue One and Force Awakens were fantastic movies.
I dont get the 'please dont make lots of movies based on my favorite series' Its fine to feel that way when properties are being mishandled but Disney make critical/commercially great movies year after year.
I really hated FA, but I was quite okay with Rogue One. It did many things right, even down to the not-so-memorable character cast (which is sort of the point, they are the forgotten heroes nobody remembers).
That being said, we're already getting a Han Solo movie - do we really need ANOTHER movie set around the time of the original trilogy/sextilogy? When the SW universe is so vast it literally spans thousands of years, one would think you could find something amazing outside of the 40 or so years of the Skywalker saga.
Where's a Thrawn movie?
Where's a Revan White/Black/Grey trilogy?
Heck, where's ANYTHING to do with the Old Republic, the Sith Empire at the height of its power, the Great Hyperspace War?
we all know his life for fuck sake, give us a yoda life movie damn !
There is a lot of hate for the Disney star wars films, but it is being off-set by new audiences loving it so the franchise remains a licence to print money. Example, Rogue One saw a large drop in male audiences because it had a female lead so men assumed it was another SJW movie like TFA. But the ticket sales were still very high because the numbers were off-set by increased female audience members.
It's all part of Disney's plan to lock in the next generation to the franchise at the expense of the older generation. You just know the Han Solo movie will be all about Han being useless and getting into trouble with Daenerys Targaryen coming to his rescue.

Words to live by.
you mean like they have been doing with marvel?

Darth maul was in one movie and wasn't even that big of a player stormtroopers are just people to kill like the droids, vader dooku and the emperor are the only sith that have really done any thing for the movies dooku least so.

no vader is pure evil as far as the new cannon goes more or less.
this takes place right after episode 3 he drowns a whole town/city to beat this jedi and take his saber.

memorable doesn't mean it was good, maul was the only really good part of the movie and he wasn't it most of it.

Ewan McGregor was the only thing that made the prequel trilogy bearable. If this has anyone else playing Obi-Wan, I'm out.
It honestly can't be any worse than anything Lucas ever did.

Not trying to take anything away from either of those guys. They both did amazing jobs. But the difference for me is this. I grew up LOVING the original trilogy. Whenever I was sick from school, my brothers and I would watch one of three trilogies, Star Wars, Indiana Jones or Back to the Future, more often than not it was Star Wars. I truly love Star Wars, and Alec Guinness was Obi Wan. Then Ewan McGregor happened. Now when I think about Obi Wan, his face is the one I see. He was so perfect in that role. I also don't think I am alone in the sentiment.
Meh. I wouldn't mind to see a whole Star Wars movie that is centered around the Sith, maybe from Darth Vaders POV or some other badass Sith character. At least try something new instead of trying to milk old material... which is basically what The Force Awakens is mostly made off. Obi-Wan had his time to show off in the prequels and A New Hope and there's little that they can show more, unlike Darth vader who is mostly making small appearances until the ending of episode 5 and 6.
