The first cinematic did not feel like a trailer imho...
Seems like they are really trying to unify their branding.
The dorky preview video with that nerd pretending he's sneaking around blizzard.
The shared stage back to back announcements.
The video about how there's a "blizzard logo before all great cinematics" or something.
Also in hindsight I feel kinda bad for making fun of ion he seemed just stressed out. And having to compete with those other announcements, who can blame him.
Maybe later because Sargeras is in it...
Well they all do look up in the sky at something and since there's only 3 cinematics, it has to be the finale as we've just seen the first one and second one takes place on the ship aswell. They're probably looking at Sargeras approaching them and Illidan's Eye Beam move is part of that aswell.
Unpopular opinion - Illidan acted like ass in trailer. Really how can he says Velen failed his people when he himself created Nordrasil.
Illidan is smirky as fuck. And still an ass. I like it.
Really it suits his character.
a source of power so his people would have the strength needed to fight the legion and not suffer arcane withdrawal? it was only bad because of malfurion's assbackward stupid ideology of shunning arcane magic.
i mean, ultimately, velen's path was the right choice since it lead them to azeroth. but maybe had he actually at least confronted kil'jaeden about it, he could have swayed him.
I mean I wouldn't call creating Nordrassil a bad thing but Illidan being harsh and such is nothing new. Illidan has always been a snarky jerk. He's reckless. Concerning Argus, I wouldn't put it past him to blow up Argus to defeat the Legion. Would it annoy the Draenei and any remaining Eredar who are doubting their master? Yes but to Illidan that doesn't matter.
Could Velen have changed things on Argus instead of watching and fleeing? Sure it's possible, but you're met with a massive unrelenting force and with Sargeras around the corner? He'd be in big trouble. I mean fleeing was the best option because
1. Your race survives(Draenei are still Eredar )
2. You have more friends and allies at your call to fight the Legion
I think Velen would have a hard fight against the Legion if he stayed. I dunno if Kil'Jaeden could of been swayed. It wasn't an easy choice I'd say.
