What do you mean "not true"...? It's just a fact, look at the ratio of fel areas to Suramar, Val'sharah, Highmountain etc.
And yes, EVERY single expansion has had people go "I'm tired of these themes", that's also a fact. Even the precious WOTLK had people be tired of Scourge and "dark ice areas", ignoring areas that weren't like that.

I sure as hell haven't been seeing just fel magic for the past 5-6 years. While I'm over the Legion threat, I'd have to do some serious mental gymnastics to pretend that I've only ever been going up against demons over these years...

While demons are "new"(came with Legion and by the end of WoD which makes it 3 years now), Fel been closely tied to demons and been around since SoO. Which is actually 5 years ago.

Its been around for too long time now with all that green substance. And no, there is a difference between whining about the waterworld of Cataclysm and this.

Now you're just ignoring the argument to keep whining. Yes, it is true. Demons have been around since vanilla, but they didn't play much of a role most of the time, including this expansion even though it technically centers on them.

I agree that I'd prefer demons over the orc-centric WOD.

Given the previous enemies in the last several expansions, I actually have no problem with and quite enjoy dispatching demons, the only other enemies I'd like to go against are scourge 2.0.

I think Blizzard did well with not inundating this expansion with only Legion/Demons/Fel. I do think it's now time to end that story line, but I don't think the story has been "overdone".

To add to that - I am excited for the idea of Old Gods/Naga as most think the next expack will be, but a part of me would really like to see either something completely new or perhaps a return of something old that was never given it's proper time (Infinite Dragonflight perhaps)

Honestly, I want more Trolls. I always loved the art for them, they use so many colors!
Fel-stuff tends to make me bored and maybe depressed. I wouldn't mind if they never use the Fel color scheme ever again.

7.0 barely had any, more focused on the emerald dream/night elves, 7.2 was kind of half and half, lot of focus on them but also focus elsewhere, now 7.3 is really the only full focus on demons we've had this whole time, so no, not really sick of them, we've had it much less than Orcs or Trolls.

Well, I love them, and I'm not really tired of the theme the way I got tired of "Orcs orcs orcs" between MoP 5.1-onward and WoD. That being said, I am down for something new and different after we put the capstone on the demon story with Argus; would love a nautical-themed adventure. I think kicking ass on the high seas is overdue.

I am up for killing some Kul'tiras humans and Jaina for once, i am rly up to get a Horde exp pack where we get Alliance race based raids and kill there races for once.

I don't care to be honest...but fighting Orcs constantly for a full expansion was much more boring than these Demons.

I have to say I was never a big fan of this theme but it fits Legion of course and was entertaining in the beginning.

But all those devils and demons start to annoy me more and more. Broken Shore for example feels so blunt. Place some weird terrein and more demon dudes here and there and that's it. I have hopes for Argus and after one year of demons I'm kind of desperate for a transition or change of theme.

Could be Dranei and some kind of mechanicals, who knows...

What do you think?

Are we going to go through this every xpac?

I never heard someone complain about all the undead in WotLK.

Or all the dragons in Cataclysm.

Or all the sha/pandaren in MoP.

Granted people did bitch about all the orcs in WoD.

But seriously... I'm more irritated by the constant complaining than I am of having to fight... ANOTHER demon, bathed in green fire.... with horns.
