The tournament needs a lot of improvements. I expected to watch different fights across the arena and different tecniques. Maybe even among figthers who arent from universe 7, to create more background. In Master Roshi episode, at least we knew that the woman came from a planet of darkness

"Stronger than some gods" it's not much of a feat. The Kaioshins are pretty weak all things considered, and they're gods.

honestly, if Goku's new form is him absorbing the Spirit Bomb then its the lamest transformation ever.

Oh god, this is like the Freeza Saga all over again.

Goku uses KKX20 in SSB= Nothing.

Goku then uses the Spirit bomb (Or he tries to absorb it)= Won't do much.

Goku will transform, as seen from the previews with his shirt off= Jiren is defeated.

I have a theory:

Goku is gonna use the KKx20 in the beginning of the Second Episode. It fails.

Then, during the episode, Goku uses the SSB Spirit Bomb on Jiren, and it still doesn't work.

Then, Goku transforms at the END of the Episode, where we get both a name, and a face. However, it ends, and we'll have too wait 3-4 more episodes until he faces Jiren again.
