Well that sucks since you'll probably have a lot to wait.

High Elves being playable is worth for that alone.

Haha. Yet Vereesa has been more active and has received more character development than Lor'Themar, Liadrin, Halduron and ... Baine/Galliwyx/Saurfang/Rokhan.

How ironic for a High elf secondary character.

What character development? Lor'themar, liadrin hell even Halduron have more character in one short story than vereesa had in the what, three books she shows up in? And in one of those her literal purpose is to be a baby factory for Rhonin. Being a plot maguffin for blood elf Vs alliance conflict isn't character development. The ONLY development Vereesa has had is that Rhonin died. She's just as shallow and stupid as the day Knaack created her for Rhonin.

the other characters you mentioned have as much development as Basic campfire and therefore aren't a good comparsion because literally any named character in wow probably has as much development as them.

Exposure =/= Development. Vereesa's "development" has been a constant trainwreck of inconsistency and plain bad writing from the moment the character came to be. The very concept behind its creation is dull and uninspired.

"Oh yay, let's invent out of nowhere an irrelevant and generic elf archer whose most "unique" traits are an important surname and the affection for a human". Damn, we really needed goddamn Vereesa.

If only Alleria was introduced earlier in the story maybe we would have been spared from such atrocity. Heck, if Turalyon was around maybe even the Raptor Master would have never been created.

Being a blood elf countepart counts as a plot, even if Horde fanboys are pissed about it.
She created the Silver Covenant so that the High elves can be a force to be reckoned with. She helped to defend Theramore. She travelled to Orgrimmar alonside Varian and Jaina to bring Garrosh to justice. She helped Vol'Jin and Halduron to save Quel'Thalas from the Amani threat. She helped one of the 7 human kingdoms to get ride of the Horde presence and was successful in doing it. She later was found in Suramar helping to defeat Elisande.
She came to Niscara to save her sister and later to Argus to defeat the Legion once and for all.

She isn't simply a windrunner sister. She has done more than 90% of the faction leaders from the Horde and the Alliance.

And yet they're main leaders of a major organisation. That's hilarious.

    But that doesn't equal development.

story exposure and actions are not character development. She accompanied others in those actions, she did not of it herself.

the only action that could even remotely be considered close to development on that list is forming the Silver covenant a possible sign of learning what responsibility actually is, and her arrogance of taking the title ranger general.

And yet they're main leaders of a major organisation. That's hilarious.
and again, you confuse showing up with development, she's still the petty brat she has been since the day she was introduced. The failures of WoW's storytelling with other leaders don't make Vereesa any less of a terrible character herself.

If you ask me Halduron isn't worthy of his title either.

Any other relevant high elf character in the Alliance would have been a failure to you. You're just irrational when it comes to speak about them.

Wouldn't mind showing the Windrunner sisters who's boss in a raid encounter... sisters of the moon on steroids style.

Haulduron held rank right under Lorthemar before and during the war, as well as fighting with Lorthemar in the ruin's of quel'thalas against the scourge and Dark'khan along with the trolls who took advantage of their weakness. He has more experience and qualification than Vereesa in his boot.

or you know, bring an actual High elf like Auric who isnt insane, Vereesa is an absolute terrible character. The fact that shes a windrunner and a high elf is just icing on the shit cake of knaack's brainchild.

So long as Sylvanas dies a well-deserved death, I don't care.

This is part of the broader problem: so long as the Forsaken depend upon defiling Human remains to procreate (a big no-no when it comes to the Light/etc), there won't be peace in the Warcraft universe.

The Forsaken's "defiling" shouldn't really offend anyone since the "defiled" turn into actual undead entities with enough mind to decide for themselves. And about the Light, well, there's no universal obligation to give two shits about it.

Blood elves allied themselves literally with those who destroyed their kingdoms.

Scarlet Crusade is not part of Alliance. And it doesn't change the fact that Garithos represented Lordaeron. So Lordaeron was the one who screwed blood elves and for all means and purposes blood elves are now allied with it in the Horde.

So, blood elves allied themselves with those who tried to destroy their homeland once and with those who actually did it. Truly a principled race.
Except the decision to commit a genocide against the Elves came from Arthas and Arthas alone. All because of Sylvanas' persistent defense. And before you move the goalposts to how he was the leader of Lordaeron and how it's somehow relevant to Blood Elves being allied with Forsaken, the Forsaken waged a civil war against him. In regards to the overall Forsaken point, it's also as if they were mind-controlled slaves of the Lich King at Arthas' beck and call at the time.

Speaking of the Lich King, he wasn't even an Orc anymore. Ner'zhul also never played a significant role in the Old Horde. Which, as the name implies, isn't the New Horde the Blood Elves allied with. At the time of Quel'thalas' destruction the Lich King was also still a pawn of the Legion, unlike the freed Orcs Blood Elves joined forces with. Finally, the Forsaken were unaffiliated with Garithos' forces at the time and they were kinda undead as well. So, in conclusion, as Anaxie said, this was mental gymnastics galore.

True that. Tabrotar's whiny shitpost is already pretty great due to how it omitted the part that it's anything moronically incorrect about Sylvanas that will be dismissed (just like any other moronically incorrect headcasecanon about any other character because this isn't fanfiction.net, let alone a support group for people victimized by a particular fictional character). Totally accidental omission though, totally no personal experiences reverberating here. But the signature is the nugget of gold/shit here. The authority on likeable characters right there! Also, the quote about adulthood by C.S. Lewis comes to mind.

What? Nerzhul inhetited the death knights and the bleeding hallow rallied under him in addition to warsong and shattered hand.

Beyond dark portal was a huge conflict and probably the main conflict the sons of lothar are remembered for.

    Its still the old horde

Except it's called the Horde of Draenor (and even a different New Horde) literally everywhere.
