Don't pug. Pugs have been cancer on the game since ICC and GearScore.
If you struggle getting good dps for your ilvl, don't even contemplate pugging. If you're low on ilvl, spec-friendly leggos and current hc tier, just avoid pugging as much as you can.

Look my friend, you're not happy about your experience, I can understand that, but you need to understand some stuff.

    1. If people complain about your dps, it might reveal something. You're not doing enough and making fights last longer which will reduce chance of getting a good time. Your doing the best you can, is just simply not enough, if people complain about your dps, go practice and get better items. A M+ 14 is not a training ground. You must know everything about the dungeons to perform at the top level. You can't expect people to compensate for you. Pull your weight.

    2. Polite or not. The fact are there. You join a M+ 14 and clearly your lack of knowledge leaded you to the truth. People are calling you out because they are mad about the results your showing. If you want to do a M+ 14, complete a M+ 13 and then try it. Myself, I'm so sick of people trying to get high keys but when I go look @ their mythic history, they never have completed a lower key, either in 7.2.5 or 7.2 and now they want to get this high key @ patch 7.3 like, oh I'm high ilvl enough for this, but in reality they have shit items with shit trinket, and shit relics and shit legendaries. So yeah. Get your shit fixed.

    3. If you want to perform in good quality group, use tools such as MYTHIC PLUS HELPER (search it on google). You can review the whole group under 30 secs by looking at artifact weapon level, ilvl, # of dungeons timed completed, 2's in time, 5's in time, 10's in time, 15's in time, and see # of tier piece, legendaries used, and secondary stats.

    example in this picture :

At some point you have to understand, some people do care, and the more you deal with higher keys the more people does. Get over it.

I never see that's ppl complain about bad dps in single pack.
I think that's you was also suck in overall dps, and they had reasons to whining. Nobody wants to boost some random guy.
People with equal IL expect from you equal dps. And you do only 60% of other dps. It seems like unskill or slack from their PoV.
Obviously, they were irritated with your performance.

Second, whine about toxic community is also toxic.
I don't see differences between you and your ex-teammates.

Please stop with similar topics and wow community become little healthier.

In general, if all goes well, you don't even notice it. But if there's one bad experience, it sticks with you for a while. This is why I avoid pugs and have my own group - because pugs are unpredictable: they can leave any time, they can be total dicks (had one warrior once who was insulting our healer because he wasn't pushing enough dps), they may have totally different expectations (like +3 when instead of your desired +2), they can be unprepared, they don't know your pulls and may wipe you because 'everyone does it this way' etc. So yeah, pugs are risky. Not saying all of them are, but it's enough for one like that to sour your mood.
I have no advice for you other than what was said here - try to get better gear, try to find a group to do stuff with on a regular basis etc. For feeling bad, I can only say - "this, too, shall pass".

My solution to your problem is not to pug. That's why I have a guild. So I can do M+ with people I choose to, because I like them. Instead of with strangers who have no manners. Every time I pug a higher key I end up arguing with someone who 'does things differently'.

As prievious posters well explained, "it's just a game, let's be friends"-attitude and high key activity don't mix.

Maybe improve your gameplay ? Don't expect people you don't know to give you a free pass for below average performance.

And no, expecting someone to do what anybody can do with the same spec/gear is not elitism.
You totally can not givee a fuck about your performance and play badly. That's your right. But don't wait for another to agree with that kind of lazyness.

EoA was probably one of the hardest to heal at the very start. Now it's one of the easiest. Mostly because people are spread out a lot and people don't play perfectly and take avoidable damage. It's a shame you gave up, Mythics are more about experience than anything.

How did you get in +14 anyway? Usually at that level people are heavily inspected?

In reality, they don't care about the communities, even if they are "toxic". As long as they pay and don't mess with the companies' money making process, they are free to do whatever they want.
That is exactly the case. As another example, if Blizz gave a shit about anything they would have cleaned up cheating and exploits in Rated PvP years ago. But those whales pay multiple times more for stuff in the game than most others do so Blizz looks the other way. They also stream and make VoD/vids which in effect is free advertisement for Blizz.

My solution to you is not to talk at all in M+ dungeons. Turn off party chat even. Thats what I do at first sign of someones whining.

In my experience, talking during dungeon usually ends with flame wars, name calling and people keaving. Why would I risk people leave in M+ and wasting time by it? It works very well for me, sometimes I would like to mute everyone, just so the run goes well.

I'm waiting for the day that I have access to the technology that allows me to strangle people through their monitors.
Or at least a way to melt their motherboards.

Precisely this^ being anonymous in any online game can turn the most mild mannered of people into complete nutcases..

You're slacking, not doing enough dmg in quite high M+, people had to carry you, but neither you paid for being carried nor they signed up to carry someone.

Sorry, but they had every single right to call you out.

No such thing as a "toxic community". A vast majority of people in the world and in WoW are really nice people. Every now and then you encounter some loudmouth a-hole but in WoW you can simply put them on ignore.

Global Ignore is a great addon which lets you get rid of 95% of trolls and dicks in all channels in addition to not having to get grouped up with rude people a second time. WoW is big and dynamic so it isn't a perfect solution of course but it improves things drastically and that is the best we can do.

...and on the of chance that Blizz reads this. Make an ignore work for an entire account, both ways. If I ignore someone let me ignore all their alts on all my alts. It will make my life a lot easier and also will make the bad troll think twice before jumping on an alt to shoot his mouth off.

I like what you wrote, and why you wrote it. But the statement above couldn't be further from the truth.
Most people in the world and WoW are egoistic douche-bags, who care absolutely nothing about how they treat other random people.

Fucking Illidan... Had him, awesome. Also - Warden/Maiev and Infernal from the tournamets(why only him? Because had 75 wins and 4 loses only, didn't want to lose the %). Two nicks: Demoniczny_Elf(for casual games) and Demon_ for tournaments. Need to check out my login on GosuGamers. Still have my screens with ToD and Grubby.

Why you told me such a thing about Wc3... I'm now missing those times...
