Ok, well if you don't want to be specific I understand, have to take you at your word, but you are talking to me so far alight. Seems pretty middle of the road so far.

Sounds good, at least you are developing tools, you know where you are, shit most people aren't even that clear about their lives.

Nothing, brain is turned off in the absence of external triggers.

Sadly no, Alexithymia precludes textual interactions being of any use.

Well, no - end of the road - it is killing me and I'll be dead within a year or so anyway. I do put a lottery ticket in once a week - but that's about my only hope for living.

Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.

Do you want to die within a year, or is that just a guess based on what you can't control?

I freeze in place until further triggers occur.

I'd prefer not to die, but given I am on the way to a painful and uncomfortable next few years - I sort of want to die now.

But yeah - given my entire life is event driven based on external triggers - my future is not in my hands at all.

Realy depends on what the person is affected by and if I was in relationship before it happened
Deaf/mute I could handle since I always wanted to learn sign language
Paralyzed I probably wouldn't be with them if I wasn't in a relationship with them before hand
Missing a limb I'm fine with

Like this disease is going to kill you physically painful? Sorry don't mean to pry, tell me to non my business if you want.

I don't know you but based on so far you seem like a really interesting person. So knowing nothing else this makes me sad, really would like you to live as long and happy of life as you choose for the immediate future.

But if not well glad to have had a chance to talk to you.

Yep - not able to take care of myself, diet, personal care etc ... all out of control. The only thing I can currently afford is to pay a person to have me exercise for 30 minutes 3 times a week, but that isn't doing much.

Possibly - but then again the movie Se7en was interesting, but most people wouldn't want to be anywhere near it

Depends on how severe the disability or condition is. I doubt i would be able to look after a fully paralysed or mobility limited person, nor would i have the money to spare to make their life as comfortable as can be in their situation. I actually had to learn a fair amount of sign language to communicate with a school friend who lost his hearing at an early age, that itself was challenging for me.

You also hear about people with extra limbs like fingers, wouldn't bother me really. In fact, believe there was something on Reddit about a guy with Diphallia, must have a great life lol.

Motivations aren't an issue for me - I have heaps of things I'm motivated to do, my brain is brimming with what I want to do, the disability just precludes me from doing any of it solo. In addition to that, the isolation enforced on me over the last several years has left me devoid of human personal skills.

    Depends on the severity.

I might be able to help to design and build a better prosthetic limb, and I could live with a couple of scars (tbh I find even scars far less disturbing than tattoos) as long as it doesn't mean something like missing half of the face. But I couldn't start a fresh relationship with someone with a major paralysis for example, unless there's real hope of at least a partial recovery. If an injury happens during the relationship, that's another issue entirely.

Basically I'd want someone who's healthy enough to have children with and who is able to look after them even when I'm away.

I'd be in the boat where certain requirements must be met.

Healthy mental attitude about their impairment (jokes and able to lightheartedly talk about it for example), does their personality match up with mine (not as in are they the same as me but do we click), are they able to have and enjoy sex and other forms of physical intimacy.

I'm a shut in, so not being able to do much wouldn't be an issue for me, hell if the person was wheelchair bound and didn't like going out much but we had great chemistry, staying at home constantly being in each other's company for social interaction, playing video games, and having sex sounds like a great relationship to me.

I've dated many women with physical impairments. They can't throw a ball. They can't run fast. Can't take a punch to the face. Just have to look out for the ones that can take a punch to the face AND can chase you down. Your friends laugh at you if they know some chick just kicked your ass.

Good thing you can find women who are willing to date men with mental impairments!
