I am happy with my 40€ smartphone. Like any other expensive phone, sends calls, sms, mms, has radio, music, google play... I don't neeed more.

I got the iphone 7 only because it was free, it had 32gb instead of 16gb so that i could watch more movies at work heh heh. I hate the iphone and i especially hate itunes. I would prefer a windows phone if they were any good but i guess they are not. I would rather spend 1000$ on a new laptop computer or on upgrading my motherboard and cpu on my desktop pc.

Basically, Apple gets a deluge of attention, Samsung gets a couple of articles. Honestly, I bet a lot of people aren't even aware when Samsung releases new products, let alone announces them, but are at least aware when Apple does, whether they're interested in checking it out or not.

It's not surprising though since the A10 Fusion Chip smoked its Qualcomm Snapdragon counterpart in tests as well. The iPhone 7 was significantly faster than the Note 7 and the Galaxy S7 in speed tests.

Qualcomm is crap though. Exynos FTW. It cost a little more but I got the international S8+ with the Exynos chipset.

Was a hardcore Android fan for years and lost my shit when Samsung copied the worst things about iPhones when they announced the Note 5. I loved my Note 4, the OS...not so much but I did appreciate how open it was.
When the Note 5 came out I grabbed an iPhone 6 plus and was shocked how much better it was than my Note 4. It just worked flawlessly. itunes sucks donkey dick and apple's attack on emulation is unforgivable. Since I couldn't add my music or porn easy enough I learned to live with the locked storage...after all the Samsung sellouts were doing the same thing (at that time). I now have a iPhone 7 plus and it to is just an amazing phone. However, I would like to put my SNES, NES and Sega ROMs on a phone and my PC tool kit for when I misplace my thumb drive (normally left in the last PC I fixed). I am watching the Note 8 closely but since they are using the same processor as the s8 it is not as much of a draw for me.
I am really torn. I know I will miss how amazing iOS functions, just butter smooth and reliable but I need more from my phone...and dammit I want a removable micro SD card again! Would love to stick 100-200gb of music on my phone just because I can, or play Aerobiz during some downtime.

I will either get the iPhone X or hold out hoping Samsung does something amazing with the s9 next year. Just wish there was not so much bloatware crap on Android and I despise it's horrid optimization.

If they just gave you the option to uninstall the bloatware without having to root the damn thing I'd be much happier. Probably 20 apps that came with the phone that I don't touch and they just waste space.

1) Why does it matter to you what phone people buy?
2) the Note 8 is almost the same price yet none of you Android fanboys are yapping about how overpriced it is...it has a pen, big whoop.
3) Why do people have to make it a point to show that they don't buy Apple products? Who cares?
4) When have you paid for a phone for its full price outright? Most people have contracts or payment plans now instead of dishing out the whole MSRP.
