Large chests in Argus

How do you open the large random chests in Argus? I have completed the story line.

It will sometimes you don't have the power of the echo

You need to use the shroud power you can get from the Vindicarr. Use the shroud, then click the chests and they'll open.

Yellow diamond: The first power you unlock
Purple: Shroud
Blue: Warframe

Watch the crystal color on top of them. Go to the center of the Vindicar and match the color. Go back to chest use the special ability to open the chest.
There are also caves that can be opened only with the warframe or the lazur beam

^ I just noticed the other day that in the menu for selecting which vinidcarr power you want to use there's a colored crystal in the background image of each one showing what they're used for out in the world. Yellow crystal for Laser (knocking down some walls) Blue crystal for the Warframe (also for knocking down a few walls) and the Purple crystal for the Shroud (which is hanging over the chests to show they're related in some way). I felt goofy that I didn't notice them beforehand.

Well, getting to certain chests takes a different power. Fairly sure the Shroud is the only one needed to actually open some chests though.

Because they are hidden behind rocks.

Because those are usually hidden in caves, and you don't use the ability to open the chest, but rather to open up the cave.

Mehman is talking about the indicator gems. There is a purple above the shroud ones ,and you can see a yellow out in the world, here and there. Haven't seen a blue yet, so I am curious..

Because those are usually hidden in caves, and you don't use the ability to open the chest, but rather to open up the cave.

Neat. Haven't spotted those either, but its clever to have that, given the first time you use a Vindicaar power is to blast aaprt a pile of rubble. I'll have to keep an eye out for these.

Most of the rock ones you can actually cheese with blink like abilities and pass through the rocks lol.

There's just as many blue ones, but they're in slightly more obscure places

There's one behind the buildings in the Fel Armory area of antoran wastes, where the bombs are. (Blue gem rock pile that is)

Should be noted that all Shroud chests also have Augari in their name. Not all of the Augari chests require shroud, though.
