Anyone notice that once you get an infraction, the ads start blowing up your phone, but once the cool off period of your infraction falls off no more ads redirecting you to another site.

I have notice I get completely redirected from mmo-champion to some ad site once I receive an infraction

However, once I've been off the site for some time I never get redirected to another bullshit scam site.


I usually get infractions from darithis because he's a fuck face

I haven't had any issues recently.... and haven't receive any temp bans... however I remember once I got a infraction on multiple occasions I would be redirected after browsing the forums for short periods of time.

1) correlation isn't causation
2) follow the rules, you wont get infracted.
3) shittalking about mods is a surefire way to get infracted again.

Only ever had two minor infractions in my years here, and one of those was in 2011 before MMOChamp became what it is now, but never had that issue. When you said shady practices I thought you meant the blatant political bias in the moderator community.

It's been a long time since MMO champ has been a very good website, not sure if the slide downhill started with Curse or not but there are only one or two very minor uses I have for it anymore that keep me coming back several times a week. I do miss the old MMO Champ, but that's been dead a long time.
