You have a point... I personally would really love to fight someone new we havent faced before. Like Nzoth, or just a new character like the NH raid showed us (trilliaxe, anomaly, and Botanist are great examples of great, new and refreshing encounters...)

As would I, but its not asking too much for the freaking elemental lords as a council to be a raid boss. I didn't say they were even the stars of the raid. Would just be a cool fight. And the two we killed are gone. New people are in control.

Honestly I would be 100% down if they did that with one stipulation. They HAVE to get rid of the escort quests. All of them. I still get PTSD from the one in Ratchet with the High Elf.

On the contrary together with arrows, munition and mana for hunters we need lots MORE escort quests!

It's still time travel, you can't just hand wave it away. It's just very limited in terms of gameplay.

Timey-wimey stuff is likely to appear as a secondary threat this next expansion. Nozdormu (not Murozond) is yet to be corrupted or subject to become "infinite". It is very likely that this is the expansion happening due to the devs saying that dragons will be important, and the Chromie scenario showing that they're not done with fucking with time because of WoD

Other important hint that people is surprisingly missing is the pantheon spirits being release at the end of Argus encounter. In Chronicles, is hinted that when the Pantheon died, part of their power went to the guardians, at least as a warning of what had happened. Nozdormu will be crazed by a taste of power beyond his previous dragon aspect powers, and therefore try to fuck with time.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if the chromie scenario turns out to be just a huge reference to the next xpac and the 4 aspects and wration turn out to be big heroes in the next xpac.

I actually am wondering after playing through it completely for the first time myself, I know shock, if maybe it wasn't another systems test, specifically some kind of phasing tech for questing. It seemed like a very clever reuse of assets.
