“It’s gonna end with concentration camps..."

A snippet from one of the articles linked below

Though many members of the alt-right claim to not be racists or white supremacists, videos recorded by an infiltrator among their ranks proves otherwise.

Patrik Hermansson, a 25-year-old Swede, went undercover to infiltrate the alt-right, creating a fake identity that led him to meetings with some of the group’s leaders.

As video Hermansson provided to the New York Times shows, he got one of the group’s highest-ranking members — Alt-Right Corporation board member Jason Reza Jorjani — to admit his “final solution” for minorities.

“It’s gonna end with the expulsion of the majority of the migrants, including [Muslim] citizens,” Jorjani told an undercover Hermansson at a pub near the Empire State Building in New York City. “It’s gonna end with concentration camps and expulsions and war at the cost of a few hundred million people.”

“We will have a Europe, in 2050, where the bank notes have Adolf Hitler, Napoleon Bonaparte, Alexander the Great,” he continued. “And Hitler will be seen like that: like Napoleon, like Alexander, not like some weird monster who is unique in his own category — no, he is just going to be seen as a great European leader.”
Interesting Opinion articles to say the least. While the Raw Story article is questionable...the Times one is very interesting.

The US has had a Nazi party since 1930, some of them were supposed to have met Hitler, Hitler wasn't impressed.

The Ku Klux Klan was worse than Nazis but the Klan is waning. People are attracted to hate groups for some reason, I guess the hatred of others makes them feel good about themselves. They all seem like a mostly uneducated, unsuccessful bunch.

2050 is a long ways away, let's not jump to dramatic conclusions. Third world migrants could assimilate. Most Muslims could apostatize to secular European norms.

I never even heard of the "alt-right" until someone on the left invented that term. What the heck does it mean anyway? Does it mean the Klan? Does it mean Nazis? I don't think I have ever even seen a klansman since the 70s to be truthful and I live in Alabama. I live in a mixed neighborhood. Someone form NJ asked me how I could live with black people. Really?

It's a term they have given themselves. It wasn't made up by someone "on the left", it's a term they adopted for themselves.

It is just a term to describe the extremists on the far right. Just like alt left describes the progressive extremists.

Extremists exist in both parties. Why even focus on them or give them air time? If we just ignore them, they will swiftly become irrelevant. They need the news focus on themselves to justify their existence as relevant. Why keep them going?

It is a term invented by Nazis (Richard Spencer) to rebrand themselves more palatably to the public. He said in effect that Nazism and white nationalism were becoming so mainstream they had in effect become the alt-right, the alternative to "mainstream" conservatism.

It's unfair to label people broadly with the term but the Nazis invented it for and about themselves. It equates directly to Nazism.

They were a similarly small percentage of Germany too, before they were allowed to spread unopposed.

No. Alt-right was a term created by said group as an identifier.

    Try and learn something.

I can't help but see The Handmaid's Tale in my mind every time Trump and 2020 is discussed.

    "Leaders of the alt-right".

Calling the alt-right a united group with leaders is the same as saying 4chan or Anon are organizations. What a useless "undercover" project.

There is a united group (these are the Richard Spencers and so on) but there are also non-affliated individuals. The inability of some people on these forums to see the world in nothing but black and white astounds me.
