The first one was before Legion's launch. It depicted how Gul'dan got into Tomb of Sargeras and opened the portal. I don't have a link, you will have to search for it on your own, sorry

Why do you ppl keep saying that stuff. A fact exists in a story. The writer makes a sensible canon in line with everything else explanation for it and you call it bad writing.

Is it bad writing that kadgar can teleport even though magic doesnt exist?
Because it adds absolutely nothing to the story.

Just saying that it has been 20 years or so since Alleria and Turalyon disappeared would have been well enough. Adding higher numbers like a thousand years did absolutely nothing. He's still only been gone for 20 years, he's still alive. He's human, he doesn't live to his thousands.

All this dead and not dead is kinda messy when it comes to old gods. I mean Y'Shaarj was torn out of azeroth and squished like a bug, yet his heart was intact and the Vale's waters revived it.

Granted Arthas also retained his humanity after stabbing his own torn out heart so maybe it's just lazy writing and not an old god power.

Not to mention they didn't accomplish much in that thousands of years.

An entire freakin army managed to "delay the Legion's invasion by decades". Well G freakin G people. Impressive work.

    Actually, he does live now.

Turalyon is a Lightforged, making him immortal.

By decade o Azeroth, but it took 1k years of fighting to accomplish that. Had the invasion not been delayed, we wouldn't have been ready. That is the point. They put in so much work just to give us a small edge against the legion.

Wanna bet the player can accomplish far more with 1k year of fighting?

And there's absolutely no purpose to it except for "sounding cool."

So he's immortal to aging (like I predicted the moment they started to talk about "thousand years.") but he can still die through any other means. Those thousand years added nothing, other than being a tool to make Turalyon sound cool.

The thousand years isn't added for Turalyon and Alleria. The purpose, from the writer's perspective, is to add an extra strength to the Legion. As mentioned by Xe'ra, because time moves much more slowly for the Legion, they have significantly more time to plan a way to destroy a world. Add that to the fact that when you kill them outside the Twisting Nether, they become an every increasing threat because even if you push them back, they will recovery much faster than you can and return more prepared. This then pushes the idea that it is absolutely necessary to eventually strike the Legion head on instead of just fending them off, because otherwise you will eventually lose.

So because this little detail was added, and 20 years have past for us, Turalyon and Alleria having been fighting for 1000 years is simply a by product of that advantage the Legion was given by the writers.

In 7 years, the adventurer has:

Banished Ragnaros back to Firelands from Molten Core.
Killed Nefarian and his forces in Blackwing Lair.
Stopped the Gurubashi from resummoning Hakkar to the world.
Destroyed the corrupted titanforged and Qiraji forces in ruins of Ahn'Qiraj.
Destroyed Qiraji forces and killed Old God C'thun in the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj.
Prevented Scourge invasion by destroying Lich King's forces, including Kel'Thuzad, in Naxxramas.
Stopped Burning Legion invasion from Outland to Azeroth.
Set-backed Kael'thas and liberated the Tempest Keep.
Killed Lady Vashj and other minions of Illidan around the Outland.
Killed Illidan at the Black Temple.
Stopped the Amani from consuming their Loa and taking over Quel'thalas.
Stopped Legion's invasion of Azeroth via the Sunwell and banished Kil'Jaeden back to Argus.
Stopped another Scourge invasion around Azeroth, and went to Northrend to stop the Scourge in it's homeland.
    Destroyed forces of Naxxramas again.
Killed the Aspect of Magic, Malygos.
Killed Keeper Loken, freed rest of the Keepers of Ulduar from their millennia long mind control and killed the Old God Yogg'saron.
Also beat sense to a Constellar and stopped the reorigination of Azeroth.
    Had a jousting tournament.
Stormed the Icecrown Citadel and killed the Lich King Arthas, appointed new Lich King Bolvar.
Destroyed Twilight's Hammer's forces in the Bastion of Twilight, killed Cho'Gall.
Killed (now undead) Nefarian again, and stopped his experiments in Blackwing Descent (including the frankensteining of his sister).
Killed Al'akir the Windlord permanently in the Skywall.
Stopped the Zandalari from uniting the Amani and Gurubashi against the rest of the world.
Killed Ragnaros the Firelors permanently in the Firelands.
Killed Deathwing and stopped the Hour of Twilight. Also depowered the Aspects and dragonflights in the process.
    Stumbled upon Pandaria.
Stopped the Sha corrupted Mantid empress.
    Destroyed six of the Sha.
Brought down another Zandalari attempt of unifying the non-Darkspear troll tribes.
Killed the resurrected Lei Shen the Thunder King.
Destroyed the seventh and last Sha.
Fought a Horde civil war, apprehended Warchief Garrosh Hellscream who had spent last of the power in the Heart of Y'shaarj, finally purging the deceased Old Gods influence from Azeroth.
Stopped Iron Horde invasion of Azeroth before it even began by pushing them back through the Dark Portal in destroying it on Alternate Draenor's side.
Stopped Iron Horde's operations on alternate Draenor.
Stopped Burning Legion's invasion of alternate Draenor, killing Archimonde in the Twisting Nether in the process.
Did bunch of shit with their Class Orders after Gul'Dan opened a gateway to the Legion in the Tomb of Sargeras. Highlights include appointing new elemental lords of Air and Fire.
Killed another Dragon Aspect, Ysera, after she was corrupted by the Emerald Nightmare.
Killed the Nightmare Lord Xavius and apparently dispelled the Emerald Nightmare's influence in the Emerald Dream and on Azeroth.
Killed Helya, liberated Keeper Odyn from the Skyhold.
Liberated Suramar, Killed Elisande, killed Gul'Dan and returned Illidan's soul back into his body.
Shut down Legion's waygate in Tomb of Sargeras, killed Kil'Jaeden in the Twisting Nether above Argus.
Is now assaulting Argus, will soon free the Spirits of the Pantheon from the Burning Legion and imprison Sargeras, effectively stopping the Burning Legion.

And that's just in 7 years. In a thousand bunch of adventurers would probably liberated every single of Legion conquered worlds. And cleansed few Void infested ones in the side.

    The original quote:

Wanna bet the player can accomplish far more with 1k year of fighting?
Was talking about the player (singular), not the adventurers. I interpreted this as an exaggeration (though I could be wrong) and replied with the obvious truth: "Story-wise, no we couldn't." and then a joke: "Gameplay-wise, probably."

But on the topic of the adventurers' strength relative to the Army of the Light, I would still say we (alone) would not have been able to accomplish as much as the Army of the Light, who have Xe'ra.

Any time we have faced a great threat, it has not been alone. Against Kil'jaeden in the Sunwell, we had the help of the Blue Dragons and Anveena turning the powers of the Sunwell against him. And in the end, we just pushed him back. We didn't kill him. We had the aid of Alexstraza and the Red Dragonflight against Malygos. When we fought Yogg, the Keepers helped us. The Lich King killed us, but Tirion was able to destroy Frostmourne and release the spirits inside to make Arthas vulnerable. Cenarius, Hamuul and Malfurion helped us when fighting Ragnaros in the Firelands. We needed of all the Dragon Aspects and the Dragon Soul to stop Deathwing. The Light of Lei Shi is what allows us to take on the Sha of Fear. Lei Shen was no where near full strength when we fought him. The list goes on.

We are definitely strong, but we aren't gods.

Turalyon looks pretty much identical to Clint Eastwood in the role of Walt from Gran Torino.

I think I'm going to pass on that story. By the time I finish it blizzard will retcon it anyway.
