Hamuul Runetotem as a multi class hero. Using Druid forms to fill roles.
There are a couple.
Diablo Hereos: Imperius, Baal, Mephisto.
Warcraft Heroes: Kargath Bladefist, Velen, Kil'jaeden, Archimonde.
Overwatch: Reinhardt, Roadhog (even if just a skin for Stitches), Doomfist.

Only 1 ability:
~Sit in your base until your team has almost claimed victory, then instantly port to the opposing teams base, knock off the last HP and claim you won the game
I quite like the idea of the Followers from D3 as a new triple hero. Not like TLV, though, you could make them auto-follow or swap or something instead.
Deckard Cain obviously.
Adria? Leah? With possessed skin of course.
An SCV hero from Starcraft?
There's probably like a million characters they could bring in from Warcraft. Johnny Awesome maybe...
I gave it a second thought, I guess right now I want the most:
- Diablo: Imperius (True global melee Assassin), Mephisto (A mage obviously), Belial (Weird utility Hero focused on enemies rather than alies like Medivh)
- Warcraft: Maraad (Sort of like Tyrande, but melee), Maiev (Warrior with stealth), Eredar Twins (Similar to Cho'gall, one is utility support, other sustain assassin unleashing combos together)
- Starcraft: Arcturus Mengsk (Could be a real RTS Hero? Controlling units mainly and manipulating map), Gabriel Tosh, Fenix
- Overwatch: Reinhardt, Bastion, Doomfist
Honorable mentions: Itherael, Baal, Adria, Velen, Apothecary Faranell (Support), Cairne, Nazgrel (A wolfrider!), Lord Garithos (A knight!), Vol'jin (Support, want Spirit Link so bad), Gelbin Mekkatorque (Multi-class, equipping your mech with abilities through talents), Old God, Zenyatta, Reaper (With Lord Godfrey skin!) and Sombra. Hard for me to say Starcraft characters as most are already in game, but any random unit is fine really.

I think I would fill the missing themes first. Like blood mage. Adria could work here. Next - a proper wind and water heroes (Nobundo and Neptulon?) and whatever else I'm forgetting right now.
Then I would focus on the characters per se. People wanted Kel'thuzad and he turned out to be boring and uncreative in almost all aspects, at least to me. All his abilities are taken from other heroes.
Mal'Ganis. Don't really care about Overwatch, Diablo or Starcraft.
My only hope for new characters is to not have one from Overwatch for at least the next 20 heroes. Sad there's already this many.
bit of a steal from D&D but i'd like to have a wild mage character whose abilities would have a chance to backfire
trait - your abilities have a 15% (or whatever amount) chance to backfire, unless stated otherwise
q - some single target nuke skillshot
w - some aoe ability
e - reckless power - your next ability is twice as powerful but has twice as much chance to backfire. cannot backfire itself
ults probably shouldnt have a chance to backfire cause it would feel real bad to have your ult blow in your face, so lets say:
R1 - your next spell is 50% more powerful and will not backfire (possibly can be stacked with e - entirely up to tuning, if e + r + q can oneshot ppl its probably a bad idea to let it stack :P)
R2 - a random beneficial effect in an area maybe? like you cast an aoe spell and it does damage there + additional effect, 1 of summon ally mobs / slow enemies / heal allies in area
and then you can do all kinds of wacky stuff with backfire effects, like:
-the spell is cast on you
-spell casts as normal but with reduced or increased power
-target dies or you die (both with no or really short death timer and the chance of that effect should be really low so it isnt too punishing but giving exp to enemies and removing you or target temporarily from the fight)
-summon allied or enemy mobs nearby which act like a mercenary camp - go to nearest lane and push
-summon a cow / piano / anvil / whatever that falls on your head dealing % dmg to yourself and everything in nearby area
-spell fails, do some pretty particle effects
-etc

Well, since they've decided to fuck with Johanna, I'd like a decent prot paladin...
Also: Imperius, Reinhardt, and Broll Bearmantle as a Multiclass, at tenth level he would be able to choose between Cat and Bear forms. Bear is a warrior and Cat is a Specialist.

What about cat screams "specialist" to you, if I may ask? I mean, cat form druids are...pretty much as "assassin" as you can possibly get, so how would you get "specialist" from cat druids?
Personally, I'd rather D2 druid for the druid multiclass, wearbear(melee warrior), werewolf(melee assassin), or elemental(spell based ranged assassin), but WoW druids could go the same route with bear for warrior, cat for melee assassin, and resto for support or balance for ranged assassin.
Imperious. Specifically an Imperius skin with blazing blue wings.....god that would be sexy.
A ret paladin would be nice as well, either Turalyon or Tirion.
I wanna see Leeroy so bad. Make him as crazy as possible. Let him summon 30 drakes and kill everybody on both teams.
Other than that, I'd like Darion (with Tirion legendary skin), Van Cleef (standalone or legendary skin for Valeera), or one of those Nathrezim boys.
I kinda wanna see deathwing/ysera/alexstrasza/onyxia added in playable their humanoid form of course cause dragon would be too OP.
