Ok, i don't see how an unrelated quote from wikipedia highlighting that nationalism isn't socialism is proving your point that nationalists are socialists but please go on, it's fun to read.

Easy, because you know, democracy isn't a part of socialism because the national socalists were undemocratic.

National socialism is to socialism as Social Darwinism is to Darwinism, pretty much a complete bastardization of the original idea that only resembles it on a surface level. Sure, the Nazis advocated for generous social welfare policies for proper Aryan Germans, but the understanding was always that these benefits would be paid for by the conquest and exploitation of Jews, Slavs, and other untermenschen that would obviously not be able to reap any of these rewards. This pretty much goes completely against the central tenets of socialism which has always preached egalitarianism and rails against any form of exploitation.

What fascists, Nazis, and other extreme right wingers are really advocating is a crude form of oligarchy, where people who would otherwise be at the bottom of social hierarchy would be elevated to elite status solely on the basis of sharing superficial characteristics with those already at the top. The average unemployed Nazi didn't really have much in common with Kaiser Wilhelm, but hey they were both white and uncircumcised, so why shouldn't they be equals (and lord over the rest of the non-Aryan scum)?

And that's really the common thread among neo-Nazis, ultranationalists, or other deplorable scum - none of them would ever be held up as a shining example of the exceptionalism of the white race, because any white people with a shred of talent or ability can stand on that alone. It honestly baffles me how these people can continue to exhibit such stunning arrogance with little to nothing in the way of actual accomplishments to be proud of.

These are the facts. This debate is pedantic and useless. Nazi refers to a member of the National Socialist party. That's really all you need to know.
In Germany "Kevin" or "Ronny" are names used to hint at an intellectually challenged person. In Bavaria and Austria the name Ignaz was very common, Nazi was its nickname form which also spread to other regions but was not as common as in the original regions. Usually using the same name has always been a source of intellectual creativity and running with the crowd, not very bright people commonly do that so it was no surprise that it also stood for a person that got enough storage space between his ears. Bismarck was the first person in Germany hailed as Nationalsozialist in 1887. 1905 Friedrich Naumann founded the Nationalsozialer Verein.

So we know these terms have a far older background, so how did these both come together? Here's where proponents of the "Nationalsozialist" theory are not so much off but they are wrong with limiting it to just one period. Basically the völkisch movement hijacked both terms nationalism and nationalsocialism and coined a more precised meaning of both. The followers were people coming from the lower classes, they liked brawls, beer, boots, uniforms and congregations. They tried to imitate the older and more refined Sozialdemokraten but you guess it, they were not as bright, everyone knew they were a bunch of Ignazes or Nazis. Now here comes what we could call coincidental amalgamation. As people were trying to come to terms with them the words Nationalsozialisten and the older word Nazi became synonymous because the latter was a welcome abbreviation even in contemporary literature. The Nazis themselves never officially used the word because they were aware of it's double-meaning and because they desperately tried to shed these "low class" connotations whereas Sozis did from time to time use it in a confessional background even then, they were aware of its derogatory background but since it was purely political instead of social they accepted it.

Nothing, don't worry, I'm sure I'll find random unrelated wikipedia quotes on my own, if I find myself in danger of being bored to death.

It might have helped if you didn't snap and read the whole quote not just up to that part.

Is it too early to call her a dictator? Because she's been ruling Germany for a while now. Only dictators do that.

Yes, because that's the definition of dictator.
