Why is Kalimdor down on PTR?

It doesn't make sense to bring the whole Kalimdor server down just to test one phase. What is the logic behind all this??

Their testing needs/wish to keep stuff hidden > your criteria of what "makes sense" or not.

I am sorry but it doesn't make any logical sense to keep that continent up because you want it, when they are applying possible changes to it.

If you haven't noticed, they could just not include that one phase in Silithus -there problem solved.

Why make it more complex? No one needs Kalimdor for any current testing. Therefore there is no use in it being up on ptr.

If the phase the damn place and you turn the view distance up you can see the changes from fucking Desolace. Don't act like they don't need to take the whole continent down because they do.

Why would it be? They bothered to add the Ahn'Quiraj micro-holiday and now they change it entirely? don't make me laugh.

Also Cataclysm clearly discouraged them adding any permanent changes to the world. They might get phased like Theramore or Blasted Lands but they leave it at that. And no server downtime was needed to make those changes back then mind you.

It's PTR they do whatever they need to do to actually test stuff.

They keep it hidden that way probably until Blizzcon when next expansion is revealed because that scar may add some more stuff that can heavily hint into the next expansions' story.

But sure they will not ruin a whole zone (like Vale of eternal blossom) and will just fill the city sized hole that goes all the way down to the freakin planet core. The people of Azeroth are quick with repairs. Just ask the residents of Stormwind.

It took forever for Stormwind Park to be repaired and no the Vale was not a disaster. It was ruined in Cata and what....3 years later it got repaired. That's a longtime.
