I actually feel like the average age of gamers etc. is older than people expect because a lot of us didn't quit playing games when we hit "adulthood" where maybe that was the norm in the past. Of course that's all anecdotal so it doesn't mean much

Take my guild for example, we are all(mostly) late 20's & 30's but maybe that's what we attract haha

I intend to be gaming until I'm truly an old fart. I can see 85 year old me in my mind's eye... Dentures, blue rinse, and still shouting obscenities at whatever gaming device we'll all be using in 50 years.

I'm 28 and that's basically half of average life expectancy for a male in my country of origin, 1/3 of us dies in early 50s

My grandparents are around 80 and doing well, if I have their genes, 100 is definitely doable, which puts 50 as half time.
Ofc, depends on where you live, in Japan you could probably aim for 120+, while in other places barely half.
