    Design your ideal Legendary

    Hey everyone, with the constant complaints and memeing about legendaries we could need something new and fresh

    So why not come up with something yourself?

    The point of this thread is to invite everyone to a discussion about what effects would fit on a legendary for a class/spec. Any idea is welcome and critique is very welcome. To make the thread a bit more easy to read there will be a line of text to copy here.

    Name:Precipice of life and death
    Item Slot: Chest
    Armor: 1500
    Intellect / Strength / Agility: Agility
    Stamina: 3500
    Secondary Stats:3500 Mastery, 3500 Versatility, 3500 leech
    Equipped Effect: Gain a stack of iron fur buff at every 100,000 life leeched. You only take half of the damage from magical effects. Your auto attacks cause the target to bleed for 100,000 over 10 seconds stacking up to 5 times. All ability costs are reduced by 15%.

    A Duckypoo can dream can't he?

    Dude, that autoattack bleed damage would be seriously overpowered.

    (I'm not going through full stats. Give it haste as one of the secondaries. )

    Your Demonic Empowerment spell grants 3 charges of Shadowy Energy, which is casts Demonic Empowerment when you summon a demon.

    Equipped Effect: Energy regeneration is doubled, GCD is reduced by 0.5 second, Rip and rake crits heal you for 10% of the damage and boost your crit chance by 800 for 12 seconds and add a combo point.

    Item Slot: Relic (Iron/Blood/Shadow - can be removed and placed in another slot as needed)
    Ilvl: 1000
    Equipped Effect (activated): Your successive mortal strikes against your primary target cause it to take 2% additional damage per second as bleed damage, while inflicting similar damage to you as well. Stacks up to 10 times. At 10 stacks, the effect is consumed upon the next mortal strike which has 100% increased crit chance and does 250% increased crit damage. Damage and cooldown are doubled versus demons. 2 minute cooldown.

    Should really be limited to weapons or really rare drops.

    Honestly, if you get max level titanforged item it should be legendary, as simple as that. Does it really need to have anything special? it's already of higher ilvl.

    Personally I'd maybe keep the relic system and make legendary relics rare drop with 2 traits.

    At this point legendary is so common there is no feel you get something special.

    The ilvl and extra boost they give is enough, no need to make them OP.

    I love these posts when they pop up, so I like to get imaginative and come up with rule breaking ones.

    Death Knight

    Armageddon:

    Use: Summon an array of mindless minions to the battle. However, overtime the minions will attack anyone within melee range.

    Bring down upon them the apocalypse regardless the cost
    (Aka, super buffed minions with no time duration, but gradually start attacking players and npcs)

    (Shadow Priest)

    Forced Sacrifice
    Trinket

    XXX Int
    XX Haste

    Use: Infest a random allys mind with the shadow causing them to sacrifice themselves to empower the priest. The priest gains =/= Int to their highest primary stat + =/= all secondary stats of the sacrificed ally, in addition to one core ability of the ally. The sacrificed player may be resurrected during combat, but does not regain the lost stats.

    The end justify the means, the world won't miss one Hero
    Yes, quite literally you kill a random DPS character to empower yourself. It might seem op but if it targets your best DPS, can the priest make up the damage? If it kills the worst one is it worth the gain?

    Demon Hunter:

    Serrated Vertebrate of Gul'Dan
    Ring

    XXX Crit
    XXX Haste

    Use: Clench your fist to cut the skin and infuse your weapon with your own blood and residual fel magic of Gul'dan. Immediately enters a improved Metamorphosis form which heals for 100% of the damage dealt, while 10% of current max hp is dealt as magic damage every 2 secs. Weapon strikes also apply fel wounds which deal chaos damage over time.

    One of the few remnants of Gul'Dan after his confrontation with Illidan Stormrage, taken and crafted into a jagged ring. Years after Gul'Dans defeat and there's still a eerie essence surrounding it. You're not going to wear that are you?
    This one I wanted to have something that reflected a destructive nature, chaos damage seems appropriate.

    I'll probably come back to this later on with a Elemental Shaman, Warlock and Balance druid

    Equipped Effect: Judgement is now a passive aura that shocks all hostile enemies within 3 yards of the paladin and provides damage increase. Crusader strike is now on a 2 second cool down. Paladin gains water walk buff.
    Use: Cast exorcism on target for 10,000 holy damage. 10 second CD

    I'll be posting a new legendary for each spec of the Death Knight. As I'm no expert in stat balancing I'll be just posting an idea of what secondary stats they should have. Anything that's underlined is open for discussion of "power".

    Specialization: Blood
    Name: Scales of Syndragosa
    Item Slot: Helm
    Secondary Stats: Haste > Vers
    Equipped Effect: Your blood shield now prevents magic damage at half the amount of the shield.
    Flavour Text: Their Pathetic Magic BETRAYYYYS THEEEM.

    Why not give more magic mitigation to a tank that already has one of the best? =P

    Specialization: Frost
    Name: Mantle of the Frozen Wastes
    Item Slot: Shoulder
    Secondary Stats: Haste > Crit
    Equipped Effect: Your rune of Razorice now stacks to 10. Your Frost Fever and Razorice are now permanent.
    Flavour Text: Nothing can stop the cold, harsh winter.

    This one should improve both ST and AoE of Frost and open the chance to use the shattering strikes talent without worrying so much about droping Razorice stacks.

    Specialization: Unholy
    Name: Gloves of the Conqueror
    Item Slot: Gloves
    Secondary Stats: Mastery > Crit
    Equipped Effect: Your successive casts of Death Coil have a 5% chance of increasing the duration time of all active summons/pets/familiars (whatever all of UH ghouls and gargoyle/valkyr are called) by 3 secconds. This effect is capped at their initial duration.
    Flavour Text: What is a mob to a king that has his own army at will?

    This one goes sooo well with the fantasy of having an army of undead with you. Imagine haing your army ghouls alive for a second cast of Appocalypse?

    Use: your next holy shock duplicates to the 5 most injured players in your party.
