Just an FYI: his actions were highly illegal. You can't just fire into a crowd. He wasn't in a situation where his life, or anyone else's life was in danger. He was simply mad and discharged his firearm. Whether he aimed at the ground, sky, or at a person is irrelevant. In the letter of the law, what he did was illegal. So why are YOU defending him?
Former LEO, do please tell me I don't know wtf I'm talking about like you do with everyone else who has a different opinion than yours.
Irrelevant, you do not know their reasons to be there. Just like it doesn't make everyone who associated with the opposite side to suddenly become ANTIFA commies.
Glad you finally understood Trumps tweets regarding this situation and, hopefully, from now on, will stop spewing your misunderstanding of the situation and try to spin it according to your tastes.
No, the mask doesn't make it " more heinous of a crime ", I really love it when the ignorant just make shit up. There is no law on the books about covering your face.
Now I'm not saying the man with the make-shift flamethrower isn't guilty of a crime, nor am I defending him. I just hate it when people just blatantly make up laws to defend their viewpoint.
I have to give you credit, you re on fire today with your quips. I saw two exceptional ones, this one being the first.

If you are a Nazi, you are not a very fine person. If you are a KKK member, you are not a very fine person. If you are a white nationalist, you are not a very fine person. If you are a white supremacist, you are not a very fine person. If you willingly associate with people you know to be any of those things, you are not a very fine person.
Those people were the speakers for that rally. They were the ones who set that rally up. They ae the ones who led that rally. If you didn't know it was about white supremacy, then you were clearly not paying attention at that rally. If you figured it out after you got there, and didn't leave, then obviously such things are not a deal breaker for you, and you are not a very fine person.
Virginia law begs to differ with you.

Now who's making shit up???
when all else fails, read the STICKIES.
No, it's absolutely relevant. If I showed up to a protest for a cause I believed in and I discovered most of the people in the protest were Nazis or some other abominable group and they were shouting disgusting things, I would leave immediately.
I don't consider anyone who would willingly associate themselves with such a group to be a very fine person. You apparently do, and that's your right. You just have much lower standards than most people.
Thank you, it's about time you just came out and admitted it.
I didn't paint everyone with the same brush. I never said they were as bad as the Nazis they were marching with, just that it excludes them from being a very fine person in my view. You have extremely low standards and still think they can be very fine people. Most people probably disagree with you, but it's your right to think that way.
That this is the charge strongly implies implies that law enforcement doesn't think the shooting itself was unjustified.Richard Wilson Preston is accused of firing a weapon within 1,000 feet of a school during the August rally.
No one should really be in the business of acting like a KKK leader is the good guy in any picture, but it sure seems like this picture has trash on the other side as well.
You read that statute wrong. Max sentence is 10 years; max fine is 100k. That's a link to virginia state's website that enumerates their laws. That specific page lists penalties. The minimum sentence is 2 years btw. Your wrongness and hyperbole on easily checked facts just make you look foolish.
I honestly wanted to go to that rally, just to make fun of all the racist frat boys in khakis. Unfortunately, my wife said I couldn't, and I had to do married-people stuff. It would have been damn fun to watch that racist shit show and make fun of all the "very fine people."
The conservative back bending in this thread is...stunning.
They'll literally say anything to make this guy seem not guilty.
